I decided to look into the past of our CEO.
I will not elaborate on this board but check out NUOG and CORO Dennan involved with both companies look where the companies are now
I think this is the way AST will go in the near future.
Always up i agree with you wholeheartedly.
Shrina i have read most of alwaysups past post they are factual as far as i am concerned.
Oldblue You need to remove those rose coloured spectacles you have on and see this bunch of crooks for what they really are. Have you actually checked out their past histories and performance,??? If you have not then it might just be worth your while doing so before you invest more in the next fund raise.
wishing good luck to all other LTH's here.
Shrina
What makes you think that 14p would give me 50%.
i have never divulge how much i paid but just for the record for 50% the shares will have to be 75p.
I have never averaged down as i do not believe in throwing good money after bad.
Do you not remember the 100 to 1 consolidation well that happened to me along with others here so maybe you will understand how i feel about the current board.
I was first invested when hutchinson and carver were at the helm remember bushmills.
Everything was looking good for the company in those days then came the lies and then slovenia's corruption
I chose to put my money into a fund which is doing very well after 5 years.
Max thanks for the reply i wish you luck with your investment too take care
Hi Max
The answer to your question why do i still hold shares.
The answer is like all LTH'S here i am not prepared to loose 96% of my investment and believe it or not i still hold out some sort of hope that perhaps one day things may well change for the better but that is only a small glimmer of hope.
But with the current board i very much doubt it.
The concession expires next year and will hold untill there is news regarding any extension if not and the company goes bust then that is my loss thats the chance i am willing to take as i have already written them off as a viable investment but still hold them in my ISA.
If i could get at least 50% of my money back then i will sell then but again i do not hold out much hope either.
If i am wrong then i will put my hands up and admit it on this board
i would love to ask these questions but do you honestly think they would allow these questions to get through as it is an online AGM no persons attending.
It is a fact that the present directors have a long history of non achievement in every company that they have been directors of.
They see a lame duck and parachute in to milk eveything they can out of shareholders untill the end then they move on to the next lame duck.
As Aussie just said good luck with Parsons onboard and that goes for the rest of the board.
Shrina you say give them a chance do you not think they have had their chances many times over.
Every RNS i read from them have lots of words in them but say nothing.
No news regarding EIA no news re arbitration except we are beginning to prepare abitration. How long does this take exactly. i understood lawers had been appointed a year ago. After the letter of the 19th march 2021 i expected this would happen soon afterwards that was 2 months ago and still no update on that front. All talk very little action just kicking the can down the road again.
I do not trust the BOD one bit i have fully researched every single one of them and not one of them has had any real success in bussiness. Every company they have been involved with has failed and it is always the investors that pay the price check for yourself.
Bye the way not on any pills and not part of a crowd just a very angry investor who feels he has been robbed.
This statement proves that all money raised is to pay salaries only untill the end of the year.
Going Concern
The Financial Statements of the Group are prepared on a going concern basis as detailed in Note 1. to the financial statements. The Company has raised £1.01 million in new equity since the balance sheet date from new and existing investors. Under the Group’s forecasts, the funds raised together with existing bank balances provide sufficient funding for at least until the end of the calendar year, as of the date of the publication of this report, based on anticipated outgoings and in the absence of the receipt of revenues from production.
Kind of says it all really
The Remuneration Committee, which comprises Stephen Birrell (Chairman) and Ewen Ainsworth is responsible for reviewing the performance of the Executive Chairman and the Executive directors, for setting the scale and structure of their remuneration, paying due regard to the interests of shareholders and the performance of the Group. It also reviews the performance of the senior management, sets and reviews their remuneration and the terms of their service contracts and considers the Group’s bonus and option schemes, determining targets for any performance-related pay schemes operated by the Company.
So my question is what regard have they had for shareholders interests have investors benefitted and how did they come to the conclusion that the directors are entitled to these large sums of money,
Also what targets were set and acheived. None apart from rasing money to pay their salaries
In total these crooks have had nearly £500 0000k in salaries and bonusses for doing what i ask?.
Why have dennan and parsons taken £27.500.00 in bonuses what did they do to earn this, and what is this benefits in kind for. Another theft from company funds our money (Shareholders) that we have invested
These are the questions i want answered but know they never will be answered.
As soon as i saw Parsons and Dennan take control of AST i knew this would happen they have a history of doing this. New investors should be very aware of this fact as the next time they have a placing or attempt to raise cash in any other way just remember it is not for investing in new ventures it is there to pay these extortionate salaries and bonuses.
Another question why is Woods a non exec director he is nothing but a blogger what experience does he have in the O&G industry, None at all is the answer to that question
We are all being conned by these thieves.
Oldblue nothing personal mate but are you so blind as to not to see this. I do hope you read this latest report it may open your eyes to the way we have been conned and lied too by these thieves
I have been invested here since 2016 still 96% down.
I do not post often but read comments everyday.
I have just read the renumeration statement and cannot believe the ammount of money these thieves are paying themselves for doing nothing.
To date no news on arbitration just a load of flanel regaring esg metals and cuba.
I have now written off my investment and probably loose it all when company goes bust.
This BOD have a track record with other previouse companies, they just take their salaries and run the companies into the ground and then move on to the next.
This should be made illegal
To anyone thinking of investing here be very carefull and DYOR i did years ago but how wrong i was.
I believe BOD are fooling everyone invested here cuba will never happen and as for reprosseing tailings that will never happen.
Sorry if i sound angry about this but the fact is i am

Just a quick bit of research on mike staten above are the last two companies he was a director of. Note now both disolved.
No doubt he will be awarded a directorship with AST in the near future.
He has a long way to go to catch up with dennans record of seven directorships tho.
I am 98% down now on this share only put 3000k in but hoped to make a bit when first invested (big mistake i know) have pretty much given up hope on ever getting my money back here and now just sit back and watch the con continue. good luck to all fellow LTH's we are ging to need it.
Lets just hope BMD is not behind astinvestors@gmail.com as the same thing seems to be happening here as it did with sefton EGM then oh look who just became the new CEO, the rest is history
I cannot believe the people who have got behind this EGM
