funding complete in a few days; to then be announced with the 2020 accounts, (not expecting much of it, but likely a number of people onboarded), surely there's some positivity within them being released at the same time? 2 big things released in the same week would be great
Sid,- agreed mate. I've always been very much against renting; and yes, mum would absolutely love me to live at hers (i think she'd pay me haha), unfortunately she's relocated to East Yorkshire, and i have to get to Manchester for work every day. Tried staying at dads in WY, but that was personality clash central; so renting it is for now...
Rent is just money down the drain. Though, living central manchester with my bestfriend, so i guess i'd say i'm somewhat getting my moneys worth
TZ- that is seriously rough! I guess its part and parcel of this game eh. ARB was the hardest for me. I was in at <10p, then sold out to invest in SYME. When the bitcoin boom happened, i completely forgot ARB existed....*facepalm*. When I remembered, i bought back in at 120 and managed to sell at 200, which i was happy with... Just not as happy as i should have been! Haha.
I'm only 2 years deep into investing (started out day trading for 6 months to work my cash up); but now i know more than ever, patience is key. A good lesson to learn while I'm still young i guess.
I'm 21 and have 500,000 shares in SYME, first in since the start of December'20. I've pulled out waaaay too early from Tesla, Bitcoin, XRP, ARB, Doge ( don't blame myself for that one!) - that's about 30k missed out on.... As a young man, id have put half of that straight into a house deposit to rent out... now i'm stuck renting.
For the life in me, I will NOT sell my holding in SYME unless the future starts looking bad. I'm not missing out on big gains again. This share could change things for a lot of people- I hope I'm one of them.
If they didn’t release an update like they said they would, the derampers would be all over this page come the end of the month. Now they have released an update (a good progression update I might add), and look who’s here..
Holla, jthanks for that. Just realised i haven't even renewed my 212 isa yet, however todsay i signed up for the LSE trading ISA, but didnt deposit any money. Will i still be able to set up 212 and deposit there? or am i stuck with LSE trading ISA for 12 months now even tho i've not put money in yet? :/
seen as though this is an 'off topic' post, i'll ask my 'off topic' question here as i dont want to annoy more people haha.
my new financial year isa has been deposited into on 212, however i'm looking to invest in another company that isn't on 212. Can i set up another isa on a different platform, and just ensure that i don't go over my 20k limit between the two platforms? or do i have to stick to one platform? Read multiple things online
Great post Scrambler. Most people invested in SYME for a reason. The frequent trolls/derampers should be forgotten. Ignorance is bliss when it comes to something like this; just keep your eye on the important stuff (people's opinions often not being one of them).
