Outdated by future tech being developed and integrated, but what’s on sale now? What being used for current mass market RFQs. This is the key question for me, this is an investment, not a hobby. Will the Minimum viable product win the day, maybe if it’s available now when need, what’s the point being the best and late to market and miss the RFQs. Just my thoughts

OmniVision ASCI further tips the balance to Seeing Machines The commitment by OmniVision to License Seeing Machines IP (announced by OmniVision the 6 January 2021) and develop a new AISC that is based on Seeing Machines DMS and the Occula NPU is, in our view, a game changer for the mass market application of high-performance safety DMS. With a power draw expected of less than 1 Watt, this ASIC is likely to be one of the most cost effective ways for the wider market to comfortably meet the upcoming regulations.
For clarity we note that this compares to an announcement by OmniVision and Cipia a few days later (12 January 2021) which relates to an earlier stage partnership where Cipia is looking to use the existing OmniVision OAX8000 platform for Cipia software.
Max, your such a dick. Can you please just let the grown ups talk.
We have had a lot of chatter about Merc, and assumptions that the S class was SEE. Can anyone point to to the smoking gun for this or that rationale to support this assertion. Noting I have seen the proactive video where PM mention, Qualcomm, Renesas and Nvida in the same sentence and I have seen the graphic from Jan with both Qualcomm and Renesas shown as users of the SEE tech.
Is there anything else pointing toward Merc?
The comparison to CFP etc is very assuming but also very relevant. One has built a FTSE investment company from scratch in under five year, and has pumped £14M of his own money in to SEE, the other probably smells of fish......;-)
