These wells are between 350 to 750 metres, a difference factor of 10x to 5x TBH I don't really understand the mechanics of these really deep wells. How do you rotate a drill bit that has a 4 km extension. The dead weight of it must be enormous and the turning moment must be really high. I could see it snapping. There is a tradeoff of course - the deep wells provide the biggest gains

Their previous operations look pretty shallow. Its fair to say the first 6 months AC had little idea of the path ahead and was as optimistic as any investor here (i.e delirious with dreams of untold riches, floating on cloud nine) The business plan (as far as I know) was to work-over old wells and use the increased income for a modern seismic survey, and then buy some deep well drills. Possibly a well funded company would start with the seismic survey first. Well that's what AST did for gas wells, and SP still tanked. So either way there is no easy answer

Listen to mudstud - the news cycle and SP climb will start with production starting at Z21. There is a way to go after that happens I agreed with you (and said so long before) that the arrival of major item of equipment should be tweeted, primarily because of the history of delays in that respect.

Alright man, maybe they could video the BOP being assembled and put in place. That has no significance to the success of the well , but alteast we'll know it has arrived and what their expectations are

Its hard to video something happening 3 kms below the surface. You know that better than anyone Maybe they could video the debris being cleaned out. But every time it jams the SP will drop.
