Seems pretty conclusive to me.

So project funding for KP2's Kola project is our next BIG milestone after KP2 recently signed an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract with PowerChina.

IMO, KP2 has already largely come to an agreement about project funding, and there remains only the formalities of receiving the Financing Term Sheet and the signing of the Finance Contract for funding to be officially secured.

News on project funding is due within the next 2-6 weeks, Quarterly update due within the next 7 trading days, a company presentation with a focus on institutional investors is due to be published at anytime.

The funding has been all but formally secured for a long time, and the formality of securing the required funding is not at risk IMO (PowerChina and KP2, and all other stakeholders ~ of which there are many, I seriously cannot see many fish hooks in the financing, considering the weight of the 70% shareholders) would not have spent years negotiating this contract if they were not confident the project would be funded).

I'm patient diamond hands. I've found this approach has been successful for me. I tend to ignore the noise when I'm confident I've ticked all the boxes. Good luck comrades

This is quite an interesting event which is due to take place Wednesday night Aus my time (Wednesday 6pm UK time, so after close of trading on Wednesday in the UK).

Apparently the event is specific to sophisticated private high net-worth investors, fund managers, financial institutions, hedge funds, etc.

It seems that KP2 will be pitching to the BIG end of town.....and if KP2 is successful in their pitch, then we could start seeing some BIG money flowing into KP2 via on-market share purchases in the near future.

My understanding is that these types of institutional investors like to buy-in after a company has been largely de-risked, and with an investment timeframe of about 3-5 years.

KP2 will fit the profile of being largely de-risked once the funding agreement is announced, and considering that construction will be completed within that 3-5 year time frame, KP2 also fits the investment timeframe of these large institutional investors (once construction is complete, then production income should see KP2 become a stable, profitable and very valuable company).

Its great to see that the event will be available for viewing on Youtube after it concludes. Ill be looking forward to watching once its published.

Let's hope some of those institutional investors see value in KP2 and start buying-up.

The reason Hathorne couldnt participate in the most recent cap raise is that he is aware of the details and conditions of the financing agreement with the Saudis.

Worth noting I believe this is the first time he didnt participate in a cap raise.

KP2 should be trading at multiples of current levels.

NPV (discount 10%) and based on a Potash price of US$360/tonne this project is US$1623 million (AUD$2435 million or about 57cents per share) - current Potash is about US$260/tonne - guess that is why we are all in here.

List on the main board and NO to TO at this price.

Current price is ridiculously cheap...will definitely reward long term investors

- second lowest cost producer globally

- shallowest deposit globally (unlike Brazil Potash) - The mining depth for Kore Potash's Kola Project ranges between 190 meters and 340 meters below the surface

- very close to port which it will control

- scope to increase production from 2.2million tonnes to over 7 million tonnes per annum.

- post-tax internal rate of return (IRR) of 20% based on the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS).

- easy access to supply Brazilian market, no need to go through the time consuming and expensive Panama Canal..

BHP invested in the Jansen Project in Canada.

"Our CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment in the Jansen project will deliver a potash mine in Saskatchewan designed to maximise sustainability. The Jansen site is located approximately 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon"

The Jansen Potash Project involves mining potash from deep underground using shafts that reach approximately 1,000 meters (1 kilometer) in depth.

Analysts estimate the project will deliver an internal rate of return (IRR) between 12% and 14%.

Canadian potash suppliers primarily transport their product to Brazil through the Panama Canal...

BHP would definitely be sniffing around when both projects are analysed and considered.

There would not be many projects trading with a market cap globally..Would be very surprised if this isnt trading AUD 0.20 back end next year once funding complete and they have broken ground to begin project construction.

Lets hope this project is not acquired cheaply before operations begin.

When market realises NO dilution for mine with funding + massive tax break from RPC government for first few years market will react. Long term holders will be rewarded. This will be an entirely different stock come February. DYOR always

There is a reason Hathorne couldn't participate in the recent fund raising. I suggest people concentrate on the why rather than the SP.

looks like minimal shareholder dilution moving forwards..."Under the Summit’s proposed financing structure, the Company will not contribute to the capital needed to build the Kola Project and will retain a 90% equity interest in Kola."

No mention of second mine to either develop or sell.

Obviously no information in the announcement that has restricted Hathorne from participating in recent cap raise. Could be a few reasons, most obvious would be discussions relating to takeover offer given the global significance of the project...

Still extremely cheap at these levels, and even more so when funding secured compared to BCI Minerals which is developing a project with less strategic relevance, with higher operating costs.
