They announced in nov 21 that the CFO was leaving, do we know if he has been replaced yet. It’s only the fact they doubled the shares in circ that this company is valued at over £10m…. Amazing to think they were buying companies for £50m with shares worth nearly a fiver each 3 years ago…. Now they couldn’t afford stationary….Who ever said 89p was bargain of the year in nov 20…. Lol…..B

I bought at £22 and am waiting for that sub £20 to be hit to add [only 18p off it now, but psychologically seems important to me !!].... retail stocks hit hard the last month..... but will bounce back....B

The broker clowns who lowered their share price recommendation to £11 will wait until this is back over £15 and then raise it to £20…. Seem to play catch up….B

more than 10% of the way through "the year" when revenues are bountiful and profit becomes more than a myth..... £20M plus as all those new contracts and respective revenues get pushed from FY 21 to FY 22....... cannot wait......... I mean he only just missed the £15M in FY 21........ £6M is close enough when you are Pete..... Wonder when he decides that he doesn't have plentiful cash left........B

Yep…. Good day….. it’s a pity the broker downgraded this last week… I thought a nice steady climb to £15 was nailed…. I still see plenty of value here and it does move quick…. Both ways……..so it’s still very fragile and there are a lot of folk with £9 shares who will get off the bus as quick as they got on it…..B

Wonder what the extra 25 days were for.....

morning Gibbo....... I have already set out the reasons why I hold.... WSG are a case study in the worst of Aim .... A CEO who has lost all credibility ... keeps his family employed and mugs off investors with jam tomorrow..... June 21 he announced the biggest MSC since the aborted IRAN mission..... Feb 22 round the corner.... and we have moved from a formality ratification [within the 90 day stand up with a Sept 21 start] to a "last stages" ratification with no start date...... and a grab for cash in between..... nice.... keep wishing the dream Gibbo and Aiming...... Never said it was, just giving a comparator about how procurement in Africa is at least 3 times longer than some other continents…. Proving the point as to why not many sensible companies touch it….and it’s unfortunate that Pete can throw in a mention of when the money arrives but fails to give An update on DRC….B

Even standstill is a protracted process for wsg… EU regs, standstill is 10 days…. This has been 30 plus…. Now what can stop this baby starting in Feb….. surely Pete can think of something…. I also note he mentioned the in year recognition of payment…..now why would he need to do that I wonder……B

I am surprised anyone has taken such interest in the downgrade......but considering this was knocking on the door of £12 on Monday, it seems to now be knocking on the door of £10 due to Berenberg intervention.........This stock has started to feel very much like an AIM share at the moment.........Thought Defence stocks were supposed to be boring...... perhaps the BoD should take note........Need some good news here to get a spring in the step....B

rag, I think you will find the actual note said:
"Analysts at Berenberg slashed their target price on safety equipment supplier Avon Protection from 2,955.0p to 1,740.0p on Thursday after the group cut its full-year guidance by roughly 40%"

so feels like lots of upside for this dogs balls.....
