At a conservative raise price of 1p the £6m raise equates to 600m issued share. For DN to be anywhere near 30% (480mil shares) ownership, he would need to buy a further 80 mil shares outside the raise to hit that.
- holds appx 200mil shares
- raise purchase 150 mil shares (£1.5mil)
- converted loan 50 mil shares (£0.5mil)
With an average on his majority of holdings below 1p, he’s in a good place for him. Any good sentiment that his current purchases give, only goes to boosts his holdings value.
Issue comes is if there was a buy out, his sway on the vote would be immense and his acceptable price would likely be a fair bit below a lot of LTHs averages
