You seem to have concrete evidence that the SP is already factored in> Can you also share this fir enlightenment? I saw several posted recently where you state that this will not raise on the notification and you're still harping on about going to low 20's...... How come experienced traders and still buzzing on this JV and will see a huge uplift on buys once announced for certainty yet you think it will be depreciated.

@Supercharger, due diligence is taken in this response. Carlsberg UK are part of the Carlsberg Group and therefore acting on the UK business side not the EU side of life. This has already been approached by the EU but due to Brexit and other sector issues this was referred back to the CMA to deal with. The EU have already stated that they will not interject with this process as it's being UK dealt with.
Carlsberg actually announced yesterday not today that they are at ease with the figures and as for not mentioning the CMBC deal why should they? Carslberg have done an amazing job at introducing low ABV drinks to the market so this I see as a positive. Very rarely have MARS ever posted outside trading times. Usually, Financial End of year reports. A major deal like this will want to be reported on a business day to get full media access and also widen the spread of the deal. On a Friday after hours, I feel this wouldn't get the same coverage as a mid-week major announcement and end the business week on an upward trend. However, if you work in one of the companies who am I to argue with. I am just hoping today as I have a packet of blue ribband on today.

On a good sign to see, I saw my local countryside Marstons being measured up for those heating/umbrella type fittings. Young chappy said they're doing heating and windbreakers on a large number of venues in the South West. So if they're already preparing for winter restrictions looks like the HQ has a firm grip on this. Scotland lifting their measure in certain area's which will allow for business to resume some sort of normality.

I read that this morning and thought it was encouraging yet it still points to fact that RF has firmly got a grip on this brewery business. I guess the jobs cuts were already envisaged in an agreement part of the JV where duplication of duties overlaps. You also have to think bigger picture also....RF is nearing 60, whilst still young in the eyes of HMRC he may want to cash his chips in within the next couple of years and enjoy his retirement before handing over 100% to carlsberg IMO..... (I do think a HOLD/BUY) is the only option at present.

Why would a trade affect the JV? Carlsberg UK is a completely separate subsidiary from Carlsberg DK as are all the rest. Freeths are not going to overlook the JV and make a blunder like a simple no deal/trade. If you actually read into the Carlsberg UK HQ press conference and back channels that are open to the public a deal or no deal will not hurt this JV.
During these past few months, you have contributed well tot his board albeit some complete nut job responses but some marginal comments of interest. I feel that you may have gone too fast in the Tesla and overshot the mark with these. I suspect you weren't a LT holder as you cashed in at a price that over 600+ bought in that 4hour window of the announcement. Maybe we'll see you back as you bought some humour in your posts. Just read a good majority of your posts on the varying boards you spread your negativeness and like this board, you are Mr doom and gloom. You mentioned the Dow Jones in a post a while back saying this will be 20p and some BS about the US markets sneeze we all suffer, with circuit breakers in place and stop trading tiers on each level this will prevent markets suffering like you think they will.

I read this many years back when I first started to purchase stocks and learn that everyone as an opinion but unless you base on fact its as much use as the newspaper we read whilst holding chips.

A fairly old statement back in June so not really a position for the market to react, I believe the market driving slightly down today amongst other factors is that tomorrow will be the results of the anticipated figures so driving down then should pick up tomorrow with perhaps a further announcement later in the day or possibly within days of the RNS we've all been waiting for? Perhaps Fiona was right there might be a day of delight with multiple RNS delivered this week.
Lets hope for all that we can finally unite as a board and hold a glass up rather than the ***-4-tat of late. Not expecting amazing things but a glimmer of LT on the horizon.

This is a huge morale boost for us all and also we still have the Q3 figures, but before we all get excited we still have to keep one eye on the ball when it comes to closures next week. Personally when we shut at 10pm its nor here nor there in the revenue. This morning I expect some revenues to creep up. Been watching the buys/sells very closely this week as the CMA will make their announcement well before its made public. With over 1,000,000 shares being sold today in very close trades makes me think that RF has the answer already and selling now before he loses more. I know he bought at 150p but recoupling 900k from current shares would be a "better than nothing" value. Though his shares need to be declared they only need to be declared within 24hrs of purchase. This makes me nervous as these are the highest sells in 27 days not including the voting shares that occurred last few weeks. I know this is my LT but this makes me wonder who would sell at 42p without a public announcement? Thoughts
