Could be another reason though - we know Polo is being is being relisted and we know their loan to GCM is convertible to shares at any time. I would expect before official approval to the mine is reported Polo will convert their loan to shares. The lower the sp can be kept the more shares Polo will get. The ducks are all being lined up. I think its looking a certainty that the mine gets approval.

Given that it is highly likely that the BNP will once again approve the Phulbari mine if/when they win the election then what is the significance of this manipulation and the sp being kept below 8p? A hostile takeover is unlikely as Tang via polo, dyani and DGI hold 32.92% of the shares. Plus Tang delisted Polo when a challenge to his position was made by a shareholder. Polo shareholders lost everything. So is Tang orchestrating a takeover of GCM - friendly or reverse? Most takeovers bidding at 50% over sp are successful. Is this why Gary Lye was removed from the board?

9.11am and 9.13am 2 buys at 7.24p and then small buy at 7.50p then at 9.36am 171k at 7.14p. Bid now 7p. That would suggest the 171k was a sell but if thats your buy well done thats a good price.

Bid moved up and immediately a hefty sell comes to knock it back. Somebody is holding this back but holders are not selling with eyes clearly fixed on the big prize so every decent buy is pushing the sp up. Will the 'somebody' keep giving shares away for pennies or at some point this will have have to rocket upwards.......

Non-coking coal is the coalpower station fuel. Imports surge 38%. Bangladesh is burning the coal, they just wont be able to afford to pay to import it once the latest loans run out. Phulbari coal is a much higher quality than what they import.

The buyer then took these 2 at 12.57.58 at 7.5p.

The seller then offloaded another 6x100k to hammer down the price.

Total bought 950k. Total sold 920k to cancel the buy.

Unlikely they were working in tandem as it would have been cheaper to sell 920k first and then buy them back at lower than 8.25p. So that points to the sells coming in response to the buy. Who would know of the buy as the mms hadn't posted it? Only the mms could have known.

So without the games 950k were just bought and 620k paid the full ask 8.25p. Then followed up with 330k. That is a major positve. Somebody has hammered down the priceto keep it in the 7p range. Why is the question?

Just how many 'exploitable' energy sources do they have if gas is not 1 of them? And how many of them can supply '35,000 MW' by 2030 at an 'economic price'?

You could be right. Current max capacity is about 27,000MW with about 3000 MW being constructed. Remove the expensive oil furnaces, and quick rental Powerplants and phasing out gas powerplants that would leave them way short of the 35000 MW target.

Where will they find a least 6000MW of power and what domestic resources will supply them with the desired economic price energy? :)
