Most likely scenario here is that Chris et al , sell the tech via offer from BF at premium $1-2bn m.cap to progress the tech without ‘hassle’ and same time get decent career uplift for the AV scientific team.

The alternative of progressing the company to higher territory as a tech deal maker , is harder.
