Long term holder here, pretty much written off the investment like many long term holders by end of 2025, great recovery from the lows of 4.6p, here's what i get the price will end up after a successful vote, what everyone thinks

Hi all, long term invested here and my average is around the 40’s, my broker is still allowing me to buy share and I do have a reasonable amount I could invest and get around £1.5k back from my losses, just wanted to know. The 14 days from delisting on the 10th includes weekends too?

Is it possible the auditor may have referred WG to the FCA as part of them concluding the accounts, they may have completed their job and some of their findings may have to be reported hence they did.

There must be opposition to Sidara's bid from major holders hence they have not made it public, either they upped their offer or they will fail to get WG, incase they dont get WG then the price is likely to be around where we are until re-financing is done. I would prefer for them either make a higher bid or dont get WG, as it's likely to recover in the nid to long term.

The longer it goes to the 17th of Apr date, there can only be two outcomes, either another extension or Sidara making an offer which is acceptable to major holders, i don't think they are too bothered about the blessings from the board as they know full well the board has lost all credibility with shareholders at all levels. Them walking away from the deal is very unlikely as they could have done after the release of preliminary accounting review was released, antics from Trump does not help either in the last week or so but hopefully he does not throw tantrums again.

No one knows what the bid will be for sure, Sidara knows everything about WG from their dealings last year, 3 bids, all rejected, given extension and decided to walk away. If they are serious the approach will be different, they want the board and major holders to back their bid, this mean it cannot be silly, this might be the reason for the delay as they are hopefully negotiating to agree a price acceptable to all parties. Let’s hope for the best, not many days left

Best value for us shareholders will be realised if there are multiple bidders, Sidara started talks early to bag a bargain as they still see value in WG but will not offer any where near what they offered last year. Anything below £1 will surely be rejected by the board and the hope is £1 - £1.50 being realistic, if another bidder or Apolo enters the bidding war we will get the highest price. The best we can do is buy at these prices and either average down or hope it's a multi bagger for the new investors.

We can only hope that there will be management changes and we can see a rise similar to what happened with RR. before some take over.

The directors of this company had the nerve to reject 2 bids saying the company has been undervalued and arguing their case for the value. They were just trying to fill their pockets by keeping their jobs.

I really don’t know what they take the closing price from Google this serious, it happens all the time, go to LSE and get the price there lol.

The delay makes you think whether there's another bidder involved too, leaving the RNS until the last minute.

I've been a long time holder, held from around 20p in 2016 and when it hit the heights of 140 i should have sold them. Why are we lagging so much behind other chip makers in the US. The decision by ARM to float in the US instead of FTSE was truly justified with the price nearly tripled since float. Is it the market we are in or just that we are not making the products that are not in demand.

Looks like it’s going to go to the wire, the Board might be discussing wit largest shareholders as the Board are clearly not in favour and this may swing depending on how the major shareholders feel. We might get an announcement right on deadline day.

The offer price is 218p + 2p dividend which has been announced already so I guess who ever sells now will also get the 2p if they qualified previously. The price has dropped slightly for not but this tie up is recommended by the board so unless there’s another bid from somewhere things should get done pretty quickly, if there’s a counter bid then things will get interesting as some people are saying 218 is cheap.

Currently there’s so much negativity about companies making big profits, either oil/gas or banks are both toxic and get very negative coverage when big profits are announced by the left wing media. No matter how positive the results are there’s always something they find to hammer the price down

Sold half my holdings at 24.44 in the hope of buying again if it drops, it happened a few times recently where it dropped back after reaching these levels but now that I sold it sure will rise lol

I doubt it’s sector wise as ASOS is currently down more to do with JPM investment, we also have ASOS full year results tomorrow so we have to wait and see the reaction to this

I’m massively down with BOO but hope it will recover in the medium - long term. What I have seen in the forum is ppl get their predictions massively wrong, after they have release the news saying a fund manager has reduced holding everyone was saying it’s going to drop massively the next day but what we have see is two green days in a row. The news they release was a sale that started the previous day hence we had a red day and once the sale was over is when they released the news, this is not new to the market what we see is we as small investors act / react on second hand news
