Jmhy and friends, Stop asking sensible posters to shut up and go. Scandics posts are critical and not deramping. The fact is there is no information coming out of Ukog and that is what is all about. You have no right to ask anybody to sell, a decision to sell (and at a loss) is down to the individual, not you. Yes, nobody asked us to buy, personally I bought when the news were flowing and SS was saying that the oil is flowing. Now, and for a few months now, silence and when there is an RNS there is very little in it ... and the SP drops. I am down more than �10k. Like a lot of other people I believed in the National Significance discovery, only to end up loosing money, and I believe this is mainly due to the way the failures at B.B. were communicated, or not. Now, HH, flowtest was as promised supposed to start last winter. It has not started. Reading some of the posts here makes me feel that I am one of the lucky ones, only down just over �10k. I am sitting tight hoping for a recovery but the lack of an overdue HH update reminds me of BB and is worrying. If I am wrong, please correct me but the way I read it HH flowtesting should have begun by now. Albinio, I agree with you 100%, exactly my thoughts. Alba is by far my largest investment too, I do hope the bod does add some flesh to the bones and comes up with a plan. A JORG for TBS this year will do wonders for the SP. in the shorter term, I do hope we hear about OGA HH approval soon. ATB.

The placing is disappointing, but why would you think that the BOD might believe that there are no near term SP boosting news? As you said and suggested earlier, Is propably related to OGA. When OGA approval is received and HH flowtest starts the SP is likely to increase substantially, and this expected to happen in the near term?

Patience. IMO the sp is not moving because there are still placing shares (priced at 0.3) being offloaded at around 0.4, and maybe still Prim and Regency shares been cleared. The daily volumes since the placing announcement, apart from the first day, have been very small. One more buying surge will clear these out. OGA approval soon!! Onwards and Upwards.

Had a quick look at this share and indicated very good fundamentals with a couple of hefty TR1s from some heavyweights. So I decided to buy, bought in T 3p. Anybody knows what is holding up the customs approval?

What�s occurring, you had some very good advice about selling and moving on if you are that dissatisfied with the lack of sp movement. ALBA recently had a placing priced at 0.3p, and the shares have been and are being sold near 0.4p. This is about 30% above the placing price. Does this tell you anything about ALBA fundamentals? Fasten your seatbelt.

Is 2 or 3 days, not sure. I sent an email to ALBA inquiring about the missing TR1 over a week ago, got no response.

Thanks Krull, the link is blocked. The article may be right though as the AIM rules (page 32) defines a significant shareholder as �any person� with a shareholding of 3% or more ... Notice �person�, maybe the rules for companies, e.g. funds, are different. We will propably never know where those shares went.

krull, I sent an email to alba two days ago, still no response. It will be interesting to see where those shares went. Do you know where in the AIM rules it states that the declaration limit for a fund manager is 5%?
