Yes, brilliant interview, very informative. He also said the placing shares were just to show a bit of fat for OGA requirements and that these shares were with institutional investors. Anybody expecting the SP to drop from where it is, is going to be disappointed.

Thanks Alan. I know is the Angus board but surely good HH results benefit Angus as well? I do have a substantial holding in angus (and ukog and alba). The question is technical, is on the way they calculated the average daily sustained flow rate. I know nothing about EWTs.

In yesterdays RNS Ukog stated that

"10,248 bbl of KL3 oil was produced over 30 days of sustained daily natural and pumped flow..."

"The average sustained daily rate over the full test period was 342 bopd".

Are the 342 bopd really the average sustained flow as stated?

342 bopd over 30 days equates to the 10,248 barrels collected. Collected over natural and pumped flow rates during that period.

Can they really quote the 342 bopd as "average sustained daily rate"? 342 is the mean bopd to flow over 30 days to produce 10,248 barrels.

I think that 342 is an understatement. During the 30 days they would have been flowing at different rates for different reasons, but I am no expert. What about periods of no flow for pressure testing. I have no knowledge of well testing and trying to understand.

The way the RNS was worded was terrible. Started with total barrels and money collected instead of flow rates, which is the important issue. It would not have been too bad had they not mentioned the figure of 342 bopd as the average sustained daily rate. They should have emphasised the 771 and 902 bopd. The average daily flow rate is meaningless as they would have been flowing at different rates for different reasons.

The result was very good IMO and the Xodus report might improve on the figures stated in the RNS. I just hope we get that report soon.

The wording was terrible, everybody is expecting flows not total barrels and money collected. Sounded as if there was something to hide. Also, they should not have given the figure of 342 barrels per day which is the mean bopd over 30 days.

I think the reason for the big drop today is the way the RNS was worded.

The RNS is vague with regard to flow and 342 bopd is not the optimised flow.

342 bopd is simply the flow over 30 days (30 x 24 = 720 hours) that will equate to 10,248 barrels that came out of KL-3. Is doubtful whether they cumulatively been flowing for 30 days to get the 10,248 barrels. The optimised flow should be better than that, The Xodus report will show.

Severe overreaction but hopefully Solo is now out. We could see a return of sentiment with substantial SP increase when the Xodus report arrives.

At 342 bopd they have to be flowing for 30 days to collect the total volume quoted of 10,248 barrels. Surely, they have not been flowing for 30 continuous days during this test!!

The HH RNS is imminent. As per 10th October Ukog RNS and yesterday’s Alba RNS, KL-3 testing started circa 3rd October and lasts 30-40 days. As of today, KL-3 has been under test for about 42 days. Is finished. If we don’t get an RNS this week then ...

IMO Solo is still selling. Anyway, their financials are coming out on 31st December, they will indicate their Ukog shareholding, if they have any left by then.

We had two placings at 2p, those shares needed to be digested, and they did. The Solo shares being sold in to the subsequent rises on news are the ones that did the damage to the Ukog SP, keeping it below 2p. Sentiment is low, sentiment will improve when the SP goes up.

Sageman, is more to it than simply Solo - is down to sentiment which is not that good atm. If sentiment was good, decent volume will clear Solo shares out in no time.

Yes, we have been rather patient, but unfortunately the general market is not and this is AIM. No news is taken as bad news, especially in our case, they really need to keep the market informed. I think that if we get no news by next week we will be looking at low 1s. Hopefully, RNS tomorrow.
