E_AL,
We are in the same boat , indeed, but the boat has a little hole and we have differing views on how to plug the hole.
I believe that the hole will be plugged with an update from Angus and have been contacting Angus to issue one, and asked others to do the same (see the first post in this tread). The aim of this tread was to encourage people to contact Angus asking for an update too, nothing else.
However, other people disagree with this because of fear that if Angus admits to a problem at Brockham then the SP will be further damaged.
On the contrary. My view is the opposite. I think that we can all agree that there is an issue at Brockham - is a fact that every shareholder (or ex-shareholder) knows by now (otherwise oil would be now flowing).
I believe that if Angus issues an update and admits to the issue and clearly explains the problem and the way forward, clarify their solution and give some guidance, the SP will stabilise and reverse direction.
A good update, at this stage, will also show the new MD credentials - he has stated improving shareholder communications in his letter - possibly adding further confidence.
We all want an update but some are choosing to sit on the sidelines and wait.
Well, I want to try and do something to protect my investment ... even if this something is simply contacting Angus and reminding them to do their job and issue this update which by all logical expectation should have done already. The more PIs do this, the more of a chance. IMO. GLA.
