Nobody knows what this agreement is. Vonk (BOD at the time) negotiated it just like he did with the Bergen fiasco.

Nobody knows how this will be handled. Just have to wait for the new BOD to clarify this. We don’t know with any confidence that the £1.5 million has been taken out yet. The RNS was not clear.

Dahmed, he did not sell up ... he still has 2.85% ... that is a lot of shares. Now he can sell/buy as he pleases as long as he stays below 3% ... smart move. HE DID NOT SELL OUT. Please stop spreading lies.

Wolf, cannot follow. Vonk sold a small amount to drop below the radar. As much as I don’t like his performance,this is a smart move on his behalf as it leaves him to trade without the headache of filing. However, he did f*ck us up with his inadequate performance.

All I know is that since the new BOD took over:

1. We found out the the previous BOD was hiding the truth (in RNSs approved by the NOMAD).

2. The new BOD has on the website an open letter pledging improved shareholder communication.

3. We had one very detailed, very informative, very honest RNS on Brockham - a first.

4. We had numerous informative tweets from Tidswell (today the SP was heading down until Tidswell tweeted and the SP reversed direction.

The SP collapsed, but let’s not forget the numerous negative reports, Macy’s block etc. on top of the problem.

There is now a definite improvement in communications. There is a new BOD that has been in place for two weeks now. They are willing to communicate with us ... on two way communication apparently.

It makes sense to put the past behind us and give them a chance. Let’s see how Brockham turns out now with JPT in charge (confirmed from the horses mouth).

IMO, it is to our benefit to welcome JPT and the new BOD ... warmly and not in a hostile manner. Let them show us what they can do.

Yes, the July RNS said that JTP was to continue as non executive Operations Director - FACT.

However, how do we know what Vonk said in the RNS is a fact? How do we know that JPT was actually involved with Operations, no matter what the RNS said. Has Vonk always told the full truth? Two RNSs from Vonk on Brockham testing implied that all is good:

- read them again, as we now found out is not ok. Never said anything about Lidsey either, only doing 20 BOD, If I recall correctly, last Vonk’s RNS on that stated circa 200 BOD.

For all we know JPT may have not been able to act as he wished under Vonk, nobody knows. Everybody does mistakes anyway.

Alan was praising a new guy, don’t remember his name, not important, is the guy with a good CV that Alan liked. What happened? This guy had all the drilling logs in his possession (it appears to be the case anyway) and yet he perforated the water zone!!! - Even Alan can get it wrong.

Now is a new era in Angus. We are where we are, give the guy a chance.

Tidswell has been very good recently with information.

Today the SP was heading in the low 4p area ... until JPT tweeted ... and the SP reversed direction ... and is now on the up.

Give the guy a chance to act under the environment that he wants ... after all he is the one that created Angus. Give the new BOD a chance.

The information flow has substantially improved. We can now also give them feedback - how many other companies you can do that?

This recent change no doubt is a good think. It will benefit Angus in the long run ... We all know that the oil is in the ground waiting to come out ... lots of it judging by Horsehill and Balcombe.

IMO, it will come good, if you are a PI, give Tidswell and the new BOD a chance please, it makes sense.

Thanks gkb47, looks like the water issue might be sorted out a lot sooner than the market is expecting.

Assuming the RNS told us the truth today, and there is no reason not to think so, the issue at Brockham will be fixed and Brockham will come good. Isolating the water zone shouldn’t be too difficult.

I think the Brockham stake will benefit Alba, today’s reaction was pure manipulation, as you said was disproportionate. GF really needs to show the market that Alba is a lot more than oil, need to break that direct link with Ukog and Angus.

Need a couple of good RNSs followed with PR. TBS JORC will be nice followed with something on Clogau, the latter can quickly catch national news coverage.

Shenanigan by the MMs today, dropped the SP by more than 10% at open. They acted as if Alba only owes the 5% interest in Brockham, completely disregarding HH and all the other assets.

Time for GF to come up with some news on the mining assets, haven’t had any news on those for a while now. Time to announce the TBS JORC - weren’t we supposed to have that be now? Something tangible at Clogau?

Makes no difference at all. The fact is somebody bought them and whoever bought them has faith that the SP will appreciate.

IMO we reached the bottom now, very limited downside from here. A good RNS, which might come any time now, can see the SP rocket up again. The issue at Brockham is fixable.

Crocqman, I fully agree with you. This is the first time that I said is nuts to sell at these levels. When We were at 7p I mentioned that we might get down here and was told off too.

However, I do believe that is not wise to sell down here. We have support at 5.25p and below this the support is at 4.25p (the all time low). The downside from here is minimal and the upside outweighs the downside.

To be selling at these levels is folly. Who is the lucky one that bought 400,000 shares at 5.35p?

The oil is there, some of it already came out to the surface. They know what the issue is and they have a plan to fix it. They should be able to isolate the water zone as soon as they get the permit to use the rig. The permit should be a rubber stamp.

It also looks like that the news flow and transparency has improved. Happy days ahead.

Is onward and upwards from here. I wish I had more cash :(.

Good, honest informative RNS. Now we know what the problem is and what they are doing in trying to fix it. We also know why we had the Xmas shutdown. Now glad that Vonk is gone. Honesty and transparency will help the SP, let’s hope it continues. Onwards and upwards.
