Thanks for summarising your reasoning, I understand your conclusion but I don't think there is a challenging problem here and Angus is struggling with it. Resolving it will be simple, as JPT tweeted earlier "isolating the water is not rocket science" ... and this applies to one or multiple zones.

They done this minor adjustment in the sequence of events in Stage 1 activities, in my opinion, to make doubly sure that the operation will be successful. Perfing first, then isolating ... as JPT said ... "makes sense".

What is the point in setting the plug first, then perfing setting off charges that may disturb the zones possibly creating more fractures that may allow water to seep through and possibly find another way in to the well?

The post by Oakleak @ 20:49 in this thread makes perfect sense to me.

Taverham, Angus is in the process of being transformed in to one of the most transparent, one of the best companies on AIM. Hard to believe that any shareholder cannot appreciate the comms coming out of this BOD. Vonk did a lot of damage to shareholder trust and they are correcting that. Personally, I doubled my holding since this new BOD took over.

I think a pleasant surprise awaits us. Judging by the comms we had this far, another update is imminent. Water successfully isolated will put a big positive spin on the SP.

And great work from Lord Lucan, if the 3+19 days shrink to around a week that will catch many who think they can sell and buy back in later by surprise. And this will certainly put a positive bias on the SP from now on as a lot more will hold from FOMO.

Volumes are relatively low and the chart still looks good.

IMO people selling now are probably short term traders that don’t want to wait for the results. Also MMs dropping the price triggers stop losses.

Personally, I will hold and wait. The chances of recoverable oil been down there are very high and from what we hear, the water issue is very easy to fix. The overall chance of success is extremely good and the potential upside far outweighs the downside. This is good for me but each to their own.

Angus is now a transformed company. They started work at Brockham ahead of schedule and are working hard and very eager to succeed and win the trust of the market back. It would not surprise me if we get an RNS next week before the Easter break telling us that the water problem is resolved. GLA.

The fact is the SP is failing to appreciate. Shareholder value is in the SP. Whether you are a long term holder or not, what matters is the SP. the SP is important to traders and investors. As a long term holder is not nice, is not comfortable to be under water.

We see more and more shares being issued at near zero pounds because the SP is low. We seen the float balloon from a few hundred million shares to 3 Billion plus a few hundred million and in the meantime the SP tanks.

That is no how you bring value to the shareholders. You bring value to the shareholders by doing things that cause the SP to go up ... not down.

Issuing shares to Spreadex f@*cked us up ... buying the gold mine when they did with a low SP f*@cked us up even more ... they are now damping these at even less than the nominal value of 0.29p!

Looks like there is going to be a long time before we see any benefit from the gold mine. There was no hurry to buy it, nobody else was interested it in it, could have waited until after HH and Brockham when the SP would be higher up.

Had they not bought the gold mine, the SP would be much higher than 0.2p!!!!

And YES, I hope we don’t get another placing until the SP appreciates. But ...

It frustrates me when people are say they are not interested in the value of the current SP. The value of the current SP is of utmost importance and I hope the BOD will wake up and be positive and UPBEAT for once. Need some positive news before the gold mine shares destroy the SP even more.

Since you bought another tranche at 5.2p and sold that at 6p, isn’t your average still at 11p?

I don’t see how you have reduced your exposure to Angus, your average SP and Angus holding did not change.

Your trade from 5.2p to 6p might as well have been on any other stock, is just a trade. Your original Angus holding at 11p average is still there. Am I missing something?

Today I topped up again, increased my Angus holding and brought my average down. Yes my exposure is gone up since I put more money in it but so did my expected profits.

Nobody else is bothered with the fact Alba did not say anything about this important Brockham milestone?

They need to wake up and do PR at every opportunity.

This is just my opinion based on the charts and the fact that HSE approval is due this week - I suspect a gap to the upside is coming ... hopefully a 7:00am RNS?

Gap no.2, so far a tough nut to crack, could be taken out with an open above it. Not a time to be out.

A lot has happened in the past (I emphasize PAST). We need to put a stop to this and move forward, past is just that ... past.

You do not know whether or not lessons have been learned - FACT.

Some people here are assuming that lessons haven't been learned and keep banging on on negativity coming out of their assumptions.

Also, looking from the outside, they are making more assumptions and are appointing blame on a particular individual in the company. JPT done one mistake of which we have evidence - America2030.

JPT is the founder of Angus, without him there would be no Angus and we would not be here debating. He is there to stay. Accept it, cut a bit of slug and assume that he has learned his lesson.

If you care about your shares, support the new BOD (and JPT) ... Give them a chance -- A new team attacking their first challenge .... getting Brockham going.

If they mess up then criticize. Until then being negative about the pending operations your harming your investment.

Put this to rest and let's move forward. Is getting exciting now.

I wish shareholders (I assume they are) will see the positive change in all this and give Angus new team in charge a chance.

They are making negative assumptions and keep banging on and on about past issues as if they want to keep potential new investors away.

Let's move on.

End of May is 2 months away and by that time the SP could be high double digit and in all likelihood it will - Brockham has considerably higher chance of succeeding than failing. The water issue is easy to fix.

We might need more financing down the line, but unlikely to be now ... we just had one.

Any placing is better carried out at high sp to minimise dilution.

It is strange for a shareholder to want a placing at this stage so soon after the last one. We shouldn’t be talking about placings ... it affects the sp, but looks like we have been sucked in!

Kensington, well said, I fully agree with you.

Angus has the money and the placing rumours appear to be coming from the same people that were talking about a placing announced at the AGM.

Wealdoilers actually tweeted a copy of Harts’s post below (17:31) to Angus telling them that shareholders are wishing for a placing now ... I responded to that tweet with a copy to Angus.

Sad people.

A placing now will kill the SP completely. I cannot believe a shareholder will be wishing for this at this stage.

You get Brockham flowing get the SP much higher, then place if you need to, issuing a lot less shares.

We just had a placing and got rid of YA and have some money left over. I do not believe that Angus is in need of money right now.
