CT without positive news, I’d be inclined to think the price would spiral downwards. However, we have been assured that good news is coming in the form of contracts and revenue announcements.
It would have been good to have had something positive RNS’d but as has been pointed out to me recently there was no undertaking to effect any announcements in May.
Unless we are being mislead, and I would suggest it is too early in this “start up” to start trying to pull the wool over investors eyes, that favourable announcements will indeed come shortly.
A little patience, something I have little of, is required.
Perhaps next week things will become clearer.......
You are a prat, report this post and thread too?

I don’t believe this is finished yet for one moment unfortunately though it beggars belief.
My only summation is that it suits the profiteering of the market makers also. What disgusts me most of all that whatever positive news the company releases can have so little effect in creating a solid base for the SP. this volatility and manipulation will surely be off putting to new investors as well as those we’ve lost over the last six months
Pdub, I wish you a successful course of treatment and that you suffer as little discomfort as possible
We’ll meet in the other side, sooner rather than later I hope.
When the tide eventually turns, I wonder if the MMs will raise the offer as willingly as they dropped the bid
If one the short positions is 6m shares, I doubt the repurchases will Be enough to raise us close to previous highs. Though the MMs could just gap up the price significantly.
Today finally puts me well and truly underwater, never a good place for a sailor.
I’m frightened to ask how Drowningman is.....

Rereading your second link, I copied the paragraph below, but I cannot see how storage can be installed within this timeframe, presumably a mistake in the text?
Phase 1: 800MWh of battery energy storage will be deployed along distribution sites operated by Eskom in Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, Western Cape and Kwa-Zulu Natal at various points. These projects are scheduled for completion by December 2019.
AJW again my thanks sir.
O&G is a new play for me, although I have many friends in the industry, and I profess to relying heavily on the research of others to draw my conclusions.
I’m aware of the risks and limitations of such a strategy and realise I’ll always be half a step behind but this doesn’t make it necessarily any less profitable.
I am looking forward to this story unfolding
Pd, no worries
Indeed my frustrations led me to seek returns elsewhere as I have short term need of capital that I had overinvested here. I am buoyed by my successes and am developing a complimentary investment/trading strategy which will suit my changing lifestyle
I had read TP’s analysis and am kicking myself for missing AC’s article
I guess as soon as there’s a whisper of V price recovery the shorts will be squeezed, which in itself begs the question that you can’t just nip out and buy 6m shares at the prevailing offer without risking much of the profits. A placing might cover it but this surely has been discounted.
AJW thanks very much for your response and indeed all your shared research.
I am a little disappointed at the dilution subsequent to the placing, indeed feel it could have been at a better level for existing shareholders, but hey ho if it gets us where we need to be quicker, then that’s fine with me currently.
I was a little concerned at the delay in starting 38 and had assumed the rig was on its way to commence. I now seek clarity as to the changes in strategy which I can only assume will put us in better stead but need stating.
I can’t help but wonder if the capital raise was precipitated quite suddenly upon the dust settling after the success of 16...... I hope we find out this week.
Aside, are you on Twitter?
And I thought I’d read, possibly forgotten some, everything written about BMN.
Somehow I’ve missed this valuable piece.
Largo, apart from the expirey of Glencore’s offtake agreement perhaps don’t have the expected news flow that BMN have. So the anticipated rally in vanadium prices or commencement of share buy back might be a catalyst for closing that short.
However, I would have considered the potential for good RNSs from our camp would make the BMN short all the more vulnerable, but as we’ve witnessed recently, a somewhat muted response to what I believe is transformational news recently, the shifters still appear confident.

I’ve put over 200k into this company over the last 11 months, so my question wasNOT about timing a buy
The little I took out in the low thirties was to trade elsewhere and I’m happy with that course.
I, as many who have climbed aboard over a similar timeframe, am surprised at the SP action over the course of this year. I remain confident that this will play out as we imagine but was seeking debate as to when our community considers things might go a little more in our favour.
Thanks Alfa
On another note, it would appear the SP remains vulnerable, despite the recent monumental acquisition of Vanchem, (still to be finalised) and yet the presumed shorts presumably remain open and the SP retreats.
Other than a rally in vanadium prices, what or indeed when might things reverse?
