Just announced this morning: ‘Rio Tinto has completed the acquisition of the Rincon lithium project in Argentina for $825 million, following approval from Australia's Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB).
A binding agreement to purchase the project from Rincon Mining, a company owned by funds managed by the private equity group Sentient Equity Partners, was announced in December 2021.
Rincon is a large undeveloped lithium brine project located in the heart of the lithium triangle in the Salta Province of Argentina, an emerging hub for greenfield projects. The project is a long life, scaleable resource capable of producing battery grade lithium carbonate. It has the potential to have one of the lowest carbon footprints in the industry.’
The RNS also said… ‘ The market fundamentals for battery grade lithium carbonate are strong, with lithium demand forecast to grow 25-35% per annum over the next decade with a significant supply demand deficit expected from the second half of this decade.’
I love the fact it’s a ‘large undeveloped’ project… and the purchase was for c9x the value of Prem. Demand increasing and a supply deficit too. Come on George, get that DFS finalised and results announced.
Made a small top up and it’s showing as a sell rather than buy…Solid RNS and looking forward to Rambler building on this to hit full production by end of March. IMO c£50m MC is on the low side given they’re now producing consistently. I guess it will take time to build confidence but a few more months of those productions level and the P/E will be interesting.
Scot… give it a rest with all of the essays. You make it so much harder to sift through and read meaningful posts.
You questioned a cash investment this morning - why do they need cash if the drill is fully funded? They’re diversifying their risk so they’re not pure exploration and enhancing expertise in production. A dilution at the point of a raised share price…
What a dumb idea that is, at the point of potentially uncovering a substantial find too…
That’s been a long 12 months but hopefully the road to the SP recovery can start now with that RNS. Looking forward to the next of results and the MC increasing from only £10m
I’ll be the first to admit that there were times at the end of 2020 and then during 2021 when I didn’t have full confidence in Rambler mainly because of the refinancing. The lack of communication topped this off when we went for weeks/ a month without an update.
With that now finalised, the lower priced hedge pretty much behind us and the ever increasing demand (and price) for copper I’m becoming more and more optimistic for the future. The company appear to have listened too about communication which is great to see. Combine this with our significant resources (which will hopefully be further confirmed once the gold results are provided), I can’t wait for Q3 2022 and beyond when we should hopefully see the positive results really materialise. Topped up today and keeping fingers crossed for the future.
Scot- do you know what a Net ‘Present’ Value is?…
We’re looking at an exploration company with no proven discovery so I don’t see the relevance in most of the material from your essays over the weekend.
IMO most investors here know this is a gamble and are hoping that 88 strike it lucky over the next drill season. 88E is an ‘exploration’ company and called that for a reason…
Time will tell. GLA DYOR
So Moon you’re sticking with your prediction of 0.23 and yet you’re going to top up above that price? Makes sense…
You too Dr M, keep your head up. That machine is almost at full capacity (if not already), Volz in partnership if/ when they’re needed too
Distributing across Amazon and targeting India. If the company can get their message out there and pursue the tech in other concepts then there is plenty to remain optimistic about. ATB GL
Dr M, some of the derampers attempts are laughable and are not worth the time it takes to read - I therefore simply scan and move on. I’ve read a lot of your posts and just didn’t think it was worth rising to their levels by reposting valuable information. It devalues your own posts, which would be a shame IMO.
If this company can capitalise on its potential then it could be huge and that’s why I’m still invested. We know that they’ve sold quite well on Amazon (they were almost up to 300 in ‘business, science and industry’ and through several distributors but the company need to up their marketing and report their actual sales.
To have cash still sat in the bank doing nothing is negligent having gone through a dilution and reduced shareholder value. Personally I thought they made the right decision to raise cash, I just want them to invest it wisely - would love that to be in the next RNS.
Seriously what are you doing Dr M with all of the reposts? I’m a LTH and keen to see this finally succeed but needless ramps means a credible post has just lost all of its value?
No worries- still strong signs that the turnaround is gaining momentum. Net debt/ ebitda ratio has certainly improved which will be a key metric that they’ll no doubt be focussing upon
A great set of numbers with the volume increasing- definitely moving in the right direction. Debt hasn’t fallen though - up £40.5m.
Apologies Cornish I read too quickly… adds further weight to the MC valuation point I was making
IMO $27m revenue is probably on the low end if they manage to ramp up production and hit their forecast. Latest figures suggest $7m+ for the quarter with considerable time spent on the infrastructure - hopefully meaning Q3 onwards sees an increase with more stopes etc.
Either way, at the start of their turnaround $27m revenue v £29m MC…

4 new positions posted on their website in the last 4 working days. Looks like Rambler are continuing to increase their staff with production hopefully increasing too. Looking forward to the next update.
Paste didn’t work- for the second number:
67 in Medical Procedure Masks
These two numbers on Amazon were over 2000 and 120 respectively but have been edging up recently…‘ Best Sellers Rank: 510 in Business, Industry & Science (See Top 100 in Business, Industry & Science)in Medical Procedure Masks’ Definitely getting more interest on Amazon these days and that doesn’t account for the other distribution channels. No idea what they would account to sales wise but hopefully a RNS soon will reveal the details. GLA DYOR
