Advantages to re-listing:

- Appease existing shareholders

- Wider company exposure and investment

- Increased credibility.

Disadvantages:

- Regulatory compliance and associated costs

- Exposure to wider market variations

- Possible existing shareholder exit

Come on - they've never been near breakeven before. It's a completely new situation.

Should be a fairly straightforward process if they have the money raised. They need to get the prospectus sorted and the applications asap.

Major turning point for the company. No longer costing money to run BP - current trajectory towards profit. Only blip is the debt, but as someone already pointed out, in a much better position to get finance to cover it. Hopefully some finance coming from Tajakistan. GLA - it's been a long road.

I agree Bigbench if it doesn't happen by Q4 next year, I think it's safe to say it probably won't happen at all. It would be good to have some platform in the meantime to be able to sell the shares.

Bit disappointed at the SP considering the permit has arrived and the dewatering nearing the end. Will there be a big rise with a sniff of gold. One can only hope.

I think when Alba did IPO for Greenrock it was less than 6 months from memory.

It's all dependent on the creditors at the moment. If the BP mine is about to become profitable, they would be prudent to wait it out a few months. I still don't rate AP's chances of securing the diamonds any time soon. Precarious situation but I am still holding - punt money only though.

Patience may be a virtue here. Still don't understand the offloading - maybe a nice bit of reassurance from the company wouldn't go amiss.

I know - it's all trading at the moment and not many seem to be interested in medium/ longer term holds.

It's a few weeks until news - a few jumping out for a while and things will probably pick up when there's a bit more to report- plus shares churning probably.

Difficult to tell if the large after hours trades are buys or sells. Obvious they come from earlier in the day as the price is out of the bid / offer range.
