I darn't look at my portfolio today :(
Sheesh. I fall asleep for one week, suzz comes along and all hell breaks loose. Looking nice.. almost break even point for me. Not selling till a quid mind. But I wish it would come soon as u want a new caravan.
Aye, still cold.. just took Jim to station 1/2 hour ago, -20 on the car. My landrover is a pig to start. I need to keep working in it to pay for the losses I have had with shaftsink.. but I am confident about them.. they are even in discussions with your tip SXX on the Yorkshire job. Big Dirk sends the best ol mate, he said he got a postcard/xmas card off you? but he aint got your address... or should that be addresses??? how many of the ferkers you got now? I am away back to England tomorrow, but only for a week, will try bell you. Who told you about the pantograph? or did I? Alzheimers eh... a different bird each day. AND.... can't say too much about my best mate getting the boot, as he is probably lodging with you. One way to keep your bed warm I guess. haha,
Shaftsinkers entered into Cost Plus contract with Eurochem.. Heres what Wiki say about this.... A cost-plus contract, also termed a cost reimbursement contract, is a contract where a contractor is paid for all of its allowed expenses to a set limit plus additional payment to allow for a profit.[1] Cost-reimbursement contracts contrast with fixed-price contract, in which the contractor is paid a negotiated amount regardless of incurred expenses. Cost-plus contracts first came into use in the United States during the World Wars to encourage wartime production by large American companies. They went into discussions with Eurochem about the change in geographic conditions, and that they WOULD continue to sink the hole, but a different method was needed, I don't know what they discussed, but I would imagine freezing of the ground to talked about and the added expenses. Discussions broke down, so they either pulled their men out or were told to go. I am biased towards a ShaftSinkers win here for obvious reasons, but I wholeheartedly believe Shaftsinkers are in the right. Does anyone know what has happened to the hole in the ground that shaft sinkers started? Has someone else continued sinking it? I do know that Thyssens were on site doing the other shaft, have they took over the operation? And are they freezing it like they did with their shaft?
Like a ghosttown in here. Need Eurochem News.
All the very best Stach. Would be nice Shaftsinkers getting that contract, but what it says to me is that the sirius players out there still have confidence in Shaftsinkers... see what I did there?? sirius, serious!! oh ok, I'll get my coat. I digress.. Yes it hopefully will something in their in the battle against Eurochem jokers. I am doing very nicely with SXX, thanks to Berts tip a while ago, not quite doubled, but near... shame it wasn't a life changing sum that I invested.. oh for bigger balls! Stay lucky Rob
They are in talks, along with DMC and cementation, to sink the York Potash mine... IF it gets planning Permission. http://announce.ft.com/Detail/?DocKey=1323-11415340-734FS9HLK63BP3HASL8KU5CJR9 Sirius has engaged three leading shaft sinking contractors (Cementation, DMC and Shaft Sinkers) to evaluate shaft sinking methodologies. the shaft sinking methodology will be confirmed and the contractor will be selected for the completion of the DFS and the construction contract.
any news when the case is gonna happen?
I am very much in SHFT mate, more than any other share in my portfolio. Started buying back in January when this was a quiet board, Just Bert and me talking. This Eurochem bit scares me, even tho they were working on a 'Cost Plus' basis for Eurochem. I hope it get resolved favourably for SHFT. Other than that I see £1.00+ for this. Dare I even say it.. £1.50 even! My average is similar to yours SK.. my balls were bigger in the 60's!
Are you from Yorkshire by any chance? The accent suggests it, but the name not. Unless you live in Leeds where car loss is a distinct possibility.
When is the dividend due on this? Sure I get paid in December? wonder when the cut off day is?
Thanks mate. Very quiet here. The calm before the eurochem storm. Would like to know when exactly that is going to court so I could have my finger on the Buy/Sell button.
Hoping there is something in the air with this rise... ah bummer.. it DID say 10% and 48p ASK.. must of been a typo,
Needs to jump 20X its value for me to see profit :( Glad this has not got the bulk of my savings in... Bloody Pharmaceuticals.. hate em
Yes, deffinately interested mate, my email is xant14@gmail.com That is my spam one, I will send a better email address from there. 2 weeks working now so I might not get too much time on here. Hope to hear from you. Rob
thanks for thinking about me, I remember us talking about this last dec/jan ish when this was a dead forum... we ummed and ahhhed, and decided because the Eurochem was a cost plus basis it was a worthy cause.. 39p up to a quid soon came... I foolishly held, as I thought £1.50 was easily possible. I wish you were still in.. would give me more confidence... I truely wish you the best mate... as regards sxx, I am in at 18p ish... so a bit in profit, but nothing major... to me it is 5 years away for major profits
40p.. my average is 44p.. wish I had bigger balls
Yes, you were dead right with SXX, and I still have faith in SHFT.. I hope so, coz what I have ploughed into it I will be seeking a high building to jump off if it fails. Sorry to see your not in here with the rest of us. I miss your pearls of wisdom. Hope you have done good elsewhere mate.
My divii came into my account this morning, dated 8th Oct.
Haha Banksy. Not as loaded as you Rockerfella. And you will be getting more from renting your room out to Cutts. Not looking forward to that cold mate, might get the sack anyway, I smashed £20,000's worth of pantograph up on the LRB Wed night.
