Fwiw, I’m not trying to scaremonger regarding extra shares. I simply hoped to make a lot of money here with an sp of £1 plus, that appeared a realistic target as copl had a NPV of circa £300 mill. Not saying we won’t get there, but if them extra shares reach 1 billion in circulation then simple maths, market cap of 1 billion needed to get that £1 sp. The trajectory still has potential to be quite steep so still hopeful.

All depends on production increase imo. If we can increase production from 1400bopd to 1700bopd in a month, as long as we can carry on that progress of an extra 300 bopd increase per month (conservative if gas gathering system sorted) then that will lead us to 4400bopd by December. Here’s hoping.

Makes sense duster and a fair point, guess time will tell and we will see how many bonds are used and how many paid off, hopefully more of the latter.

Can you elaborate more on this please Doug? Do you think Art taking this private is a possibility via the bonds? Why be on LSE if you’re going to use bonds? I’m sure all of us would have chipped in via another placing last year instead of watch this fall to 5p.

No motive from me if that’s what you mean. Just find the whole act peculiar, been going on for years.

Don’t get me wrong, nameless is a 24 carat
twat, even he knows that but let’s call a spade a spade, he’s called this decline right. We’ve all been here long enough, we know the asset is fantastic, we know the opportunity, it’s why we all invested, but so far we have had zero shareholder value. The bond agreement has stunk from the outset, has the potential to be significantly dilutive to existing shareholders who aren’t prepared to throw more money at it. The fact that COPL hasn’t been able to move the company on on the original bond terms only compounds that fact. I was confident this is a circa 300 million company, with the bonds, I now feel I need to to be a billion company to get any meaningful return that reflects the 3 years I’ve had to endure watching Art fall off his chair.

As I’ve said numerous times, all is forgiven if he achieves the 1 billion market cap, the stubborn b*stard might just do it, how long it takes, who knows. Bottom drawer.

I’ve said before, if he gets us to a billion market cap then all is forgiven, but that’s hard to envisage when we’re sitting at 17 million. I may have to manage my expectations of serious progress in terms of SP at least in 2023, I’d hoped this year I could remove it from my bottom drawer. Looking forward to see how this plays out, I’ve become too fearful however to throw anymore money at it, I already have more than I initially bargained for.

Are you guys not concerned about the possible billion shares in issue? We have a heck of an asset certainly but to me, it seems Art is giving it to his mates and diluting us to high heaven.
