look at the trade prices pulling the SP down - a bigger order is being worked IMO

The news last week was company making but the markets don’t appear to agree! US is down close to where we were trading prior to news!

Stamp needs to get on the road with the PR machine, or put to bed rumours of a placing

Company announces their 'Watson and Crick' moment of a scientific breakthrough no other company in the world is working on.... SP drops 3%!

They increased their short position on the day of the RNS - curiously

does this stink of a placing to you?

AIM is a frustrating place - good news often limps itsway into the SP. Only a small flurry of buys here and we will be solidly in the 40's

Great to watch again the webinar from Thursday. I would urge anyone who hasn’t to watch in full. Enormous excitement and opportunity.

How would an aggressive takeover be handled ? What measures are in place to avoid Midatech being snapped up for a song? With only 20 staff I suspect the temptation for Stamp to sell, retire on a healthy pension whilst giving his team a healthy bonus might just prevent him going the long haul.

Certainly some interesting days and weeks ahead !

This all sounds great but what are people’s thoughts about a placing in the short term? During the webinar they mentioned they had less cash burn and funding until the end of Q4 however they are not going to leave it until the end of Q3 to raise funds and it’s unlikely they will have a saleable product for some time yet.

I hate placings, they only serve ii’s and PI’s always end up getting diluted. There was a holdings RNS yesterday which suggested the dumping of stock in preparation for a placing purchase at a more favourable SP. I hope this is not the premise on the run up to this months AGM.

If a placing can be ruled out in the short term this will fly. This is dream news for a company such as MT.

Closing SP was 37p - 39p is a Google quirk based on a late reported trade.

This has been held back to allow larger trades - look at all the tiny trades which have taken place today.

It hasn’t been disclosed as yet - that would certainly rocket the SP to new heights if that was announced and formalised, acting as an endorsement by big pharma !

120m!! MTP daily average of around 200k usually. Finished circa 3p with an after hours push

Preopen is not the same as trading is it! We opened 16% down at 22p - a close at 40p with some enormous trades is a good days work in my book
