The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
A huge question for all, and not everyone in the same boat depending on age and circumstances. Being retired and nearly 12 years on AIM means not waiting too long for me, before cashing in, although I expect that to be in stages over 2022. Great if you are younger and can afford to wait longer and maximise the future potential. Like many there's a nervous spouse to consider so recovery of initial stake will be first goal, probably quite soon after peer review (assuming results akin to P2). But, that's where any strategy ends ... it will simply be watch, wait and see how steep the graph goes, and when dips occur. Only saving grace is that having risked going all in, I don't need the high-end estimates for a good return. GLA and especially if you are like me and need to secure an early exit strategy.
Good coverage from Huff Post and continued pressure keeps this story going and will become a growing thorn in Govt's side. The 'rumour' (poss a leak to warn of future changes once Covid is officially classified as endemic) may cause yet another rush on tests like before, so continue to highlight UK LFT Co's being hamstrung by PD. Order your tests.
... building here but needs all (actual) investors to support those who lit the fire, and others who have been fanning the flames to keep it going. Twitter seems to be the battleground right now so just a 'like' or a 're-tweet' is the very least we should be doing to support those (particularly of influence) who are posting ... MP's (from all parties actually, the Media, BIVDA, etc) to know their voice and actions are appreciated and supported. How can anyone invested here not be willing to do something as simple as that ... even if they are not willing to canvas their own MP/MSP? Too many defeatist attitudes - you have a voice, use it or lose it.
Like, share, re-tweet ...

It is..99 - Can't argue with your view on the consumer society. I don't think anyone disagrees - or how difficult the task at hand. The issue is do you suck it up or try to do something about it. I think what is happening is the latter, no matter how small the voice at the beginning but pressure can work, if we all just take the next step without worrying how high the mountain may look. If everyone on here who internalised their frustration mirrored that externally and copied in all the possible @ and # influencers, it can only help, or at least allow us all to vent elsewhere. We're just waiting here anyway ...
Unfortunately the lack of specifics in the Q by Ms Raynor means that it has backfired with Gov't capitalising with their answer, and later in the debate feeling able to claim, "the stupefying ignorance of the bench opposite" in terms of the UK LFT capacity Q. Opportunity lost.
.. Angela Raynor live on Sky questioning the lack of building UK's own LFT capacity.
Back to the twitter warpath ...
"@SundayTimesScot - Prof Peto states UK Co's are "whingeing" - not a very professional or scientific analysis. US banned Chinese LFTs as inferior. #ODX test id'd as 'Gold Standard' after trials. Are Prof Peto's pals up to same 'gold standard' of approval? @johnredwood @Omega_ODX "
Never had so many likes and re-tweets before since replying to JR. Copied in ODX to that and a few others recently but not even a like from them which hopefully means something positive as someone will still be monitoring their feed I'm sure. Copied in ABDX, Melogic, Bill Gates & news channels for good measure. I think its key to remain respectful, as have seen some that will just be ignored and the message lost.
Just replied to JR and in the time to tweet, the likes, replies & retweets are ramping up. Good job.
No worries Tommy D ... may be down in steerage but been all in here since the Mar '20 launch and dabbled a little prior to that. Watch that typing tho', dust down your school dictionary, or you'll be in detention.
Oops, sorry! Spelling Police up early.
I think this may have been it ...

Morning all - just popped in, despite feeling this will be a bit of a dead period between Christmas and NY. Already wishing it away, and desperate to get into "early 2022", but pretty much resigned to relying on 1 Mar. Anything earlier is a bonus.
We understandably get upset if we we don't get recognition (e.g. our name in the papers), especially when we believe we 'get it' whilst others appear not to (King's new clothes), but, perhaps verging on the simplistic or naive, I have hung on to 2 ideas since being invested here for a few years now:
1. 15 years of experience fighting there way here has honed a sound strategy of how and when to communicate, complemented by the level of recent executive acquisitions, and
2. Since the early days of AZ backing, the future lies with big Pharma having the knowledge and understanding, more that it does with the (wo)man on the Clapham omnibus reading the paper/listening to BBC/Sky on their smartphone.
Hope so, anyway!
