Wonder what part, if any, recent visit by DAM played in this ?
Well, holding anyway, so will reserve ridicule till they (hopefully) update on the result. I'm no CEO, and no-one persuaded me to invest but myself but would certainly be unhappy at them closing the doors, staying home and not putting themselves out there.
Sledgey ... with you on that - too far down to sell up. Seems a 50/50 punt to me but so have simplified the decision to taking a 'glass as half full' view. Luckily helps to be focussed is on #SNG right now so, fingers crossed for fellow hangers-on.
Whatever the possibilities available within the rules to reduce timelines and multi-task the various procedural elements, I would suggest that the highly professional SNG team will have (for some time) been project managing this final stage to the nth degree. Prepared myself for a late Jan/early Feb 1st update, just to remain sane in the meantime, but sticky hands expected to remain so remain until peer review (c. 1st Mar or so).
Something or nothing? .. hard to say, but the lack of any info or context is nevertheless intriguing. Lets hope it's the former. More patience, and one to watch.
Enjoying the thread today, and whilst all speculation without P3 results, it's passing the time. It is no doubt an over simplification but seem to remember more than once RM stating about their 'partners' and the need for SNG to be taken forward by one that could handle the huge effort required for scaling up, distribution, etc, etc. However, it would be madness for SNG not to gear up and progress down the road of self-sufficiency (as they have with new staff and new agreements with key players) in order to retain some control over their options but ultimately maximise the return. On one hand they are not big enough, and may not have the desire, to go it alone but how could they do anything else but put all the otherwise necessary elements in place? To do otherwise puts SNG at the mercy of a big Pharma holding them to ransom with a derisory figure as they have no other option but to take it. A bit of a game, and no doubt the RoI for the new staff and partner Co's is a share of the bounty if their role in the 'game' is a short-lived one. I therefore see SNG spreading their wings in order to look bigger is just a necessary part of the process and to be able to hold out longer without accessing the first/only offer that comes along. Interesting to muse as we wait. Patience and GLA.
... do we have any sort of deadline for this or can DSHC/PD take as long as they like. Tried searching on-line but no mention of this in process description. Was wondering whether an FoI had ever been done/considered. Takes 3 weeks so may not be worth asking where we are if anyone knows it's coming within that time.
.. here we go again. I just wish this BB would drag itself up from the school playground. If you are on here, then clearly you are currently unhappy - in that surely we are all in the same boat, albeit with different opinions on how, why and who was responsible for the leaky hull. So express your opinions and/or use the filter but leave out the abuse. It just ruins the BB for everyone else.
A huge question for all, and not everyone in the same boat depending on age and circumstances. Being retired and nearly 12 years on AIM means not waiting too long for me, before cashing in, although I expect that to be in stages over 2022. Great if you are younger and can afford to wait longer and maximise the future potential. Like many there's a nervous spouse to consider so recovery of initial stake will be first goal, probably quite soon after peer review (assuming results akin to P2). But, that's where any strategy ends ... it will simply be watch, wait and see how steep the graph goes, and when dips occur. Only saving grace is that having risked going all in, I don't need the high-end estimates for a good return. GLA and especially if you are like me and need to secure an early exit strategy.
Good coverage from Huff Post and continued pressure keeps this story going and will become a growing thorn in Govt's side. The 'rumour' (poss a leak to warn of future changes once Covid is officially classified as endemic) may cause yet another rush on tests like before, so continue to highlight UK LFT Co's being hamstrung by PD.
