New Year, thought I'd take a look. Steady progress - nothing earth shattering but a solid long term investment (5 - 10 years)
P/E of 8 and a sort of a dividend. Slow but sure, leaving any move as holding for a student for a long term gain. If p/e got to 5, they'd become a takeover target !
Nice bit of business. More secure as an investment
Margins are tight with low interest rates. If the recent rate rises in the States starts rises elsewhere - OPM will become a better proposition. I don't think this is a quick buck. I'm holding these in an ISA for a student - reckon when he quailifies in about 18 months with his degree the rise wll be starting to take hold.
Wait until Henderson have stopped selling, then buy in. I'll just sit it out. As below, I was sad to see Maria go. Capped at 70p until selling by corporate holdings stops.
Still here, watching from the sidelines, put a load a while ago in my sons ISA. Safe place for cash, especially with the EU vote.
;-) Enough said Delighted
Market capitalization about £30M. Cash rich ... bought a few. The £2.25p 1 for 5 buy back underpins the price a bit.
Looking like a nice safe haven, average selling VWAP is rising 10p a day and usually 60p above price. Buying average VWAP is 20p below price.
Sorry guys, I've bailed, I want the money for SAR. Will come back later after SAR's deals have matured.
Makes good reading this morning. RNS Number : 9596D The discovery of this new high-grade gold, zinc, lead and silver mineralization within the Caijiaying ore body can be expected to make a significant and increasing contribution to mine revenue Chairman's Statement Chairman Mladen Ninkov commented, "Even after the production of an exceptional new JORC resource, further new drill results exemplify the ever increasing size of this world class, polymetallic, orebody. The enduring faith of the Company's shareholders continues to be repaid in abundance. I could not be more delighted for our shareholders."
50+ years in the mine - now that's what a pension fund likes to see !
I sold yesterday because of the eu mess. lucky .... still a well managed company but the timing is wrong to be here.
At 7p live. Nice
Happy holder. Put in the bottom drawer and forget it, just watch it rise year on year !
Recent recommendation.
One thing for sure they'd not be offering to buy back shares if they were short of cash for the delivery of the contract.
Opening up to foreign investment is a good indicator to a better future here. Price slipping on the back of a fall in gold.
Nice steady buying.
