During drilling, there are often fluids lost to the reservoir.
A professional company would know how much they lost and know how much the well is presently producing (total volume). From this a 6yr old child could calculate an estimated time for clean up to complete, even adding a large safety factor. Of course CEG are unable to do this simple task.
And the Bahamas.....clearly that's top secret, why would they tell shareholders............

I thought 14th they said it was gone. I'm sure they said they would run the completion with their own workover unit. If not then yes, several days to clear the site.

Glide, fair enough, I didn't read again I went from memory which was wrong. Doesn't change the fact that it should be flowing by now. 9 days to run completion, perforate and hook up to the production system. Don't know how much they perforated but they did it through tubing as they were running completion on 14th, so guessing just lower Cruze (70ft). Even if it was all 300ft, 9 days is a long time for these activities.
Anyway, we haven't been given any details of the testing so we don't know how long that will be. It will probably be a combination of flow and pressure build-up to get reservoir info, but there should be some early flow rates, albeit probably won't release until they have the volume data.

Not perforating. 5th July hole was cased and they had to log, complete, perforate. Today they are supposed to be actually flowing if they are not already. Any other company and it would have been flowing more than a week ago.

SC, you say things aren't that bad yet, I assume because of potential. But we need the company to tell us about the potential, tell us what they are doing to recover this pitiful situation.

If he is the minister of Rural affairs now, is his priority the Sami, who in fact might be slightly inconvenienced but no significant impact, or Jokkmokk, who can't meet their budget to keep the town running and desperately needs jobs. We have already established (or UNESCO have) that the only potential impact on Laponia is transportation routes, which actually don't get concluded until the next phase of the permitting process.
When you discuss it, its difficult to see where the delay is and why the Sami are threatening social unrest. Perhaps the Sami have decided that Norrbotten is an independent state and is only for them.

Fair point, if that's his game plan. Albeit if the Sami are his priority then we have probably already lost.
