Good luck with Gloucester mate, watch out if near the river seven though. Floods nearly every year. Upton apon seven gets hit badly. Though watching the Severn boar come up on spring tide is awesome. Used to fish for elvers ( glass eels) many years ago between Gloucester and Tewksbury. Many a cold and long nights, then of to work in the morning. Anything for a few extra pennies in them days lol.

Must admit I have liked MK (well just outside in Emberton) since I moved up this way du to work transfer. Alas probably move back to Malvern/Worcester area nearer family. Kids/grandkids when the site closes next year. Looking forward to retirement as like most on this BB old and knackered lol.

Just had a work colleague ring me up with devastating news, a good mate from another crew had a hart atack this morning in work. Jumped on FLT and went 20/30 yards then lights out. First aders and paramedics tried their best but no luck. Just brings it home, enjoy it while you can. Only had a chat about the place closing next year on Friday night. BLOODY HELL.
