Completely agree bountyman ! No many people have been as critical as me about RRL but I must say slowly but surely they are turning a corner... if they can stick to their word and achieve 800 BOPD or exceed it by June .... I honestly believe we can easily double before year end ... specially if they can hit their targets in Indo and also find some clients for the RRDSL RIGS ... add to that the increasing oil prIce and talk of 100/ bbl next year by the daily telegraph and boom

Dunderhead A drillship is over speced for the North Sea. Drill ships are for deep water environments such as the GOM , west Africa, Brazil etc where water depths can exceed 3000m/ 10000 ft. We need a cheap and cheerful jack up or semi submersible. Your costs are also way off ... we carried out an ITT recently for a 6 gen DS. The lowest we saw was around $350k / day. Anyway I don’t really mind what we get as long as we get something ?

Maverick ENI are Drilling in Morocco using something called a drillship. It’s not a suitable type of rig for the North Sea. Even if it was ideal , there are closer rigs to home

Celtic I beg you please don’t write another “I told you so” charting post ... every time you do that , the price tanks! It’s not too bad at all! If the quarterlies show a continued increase in BOPD the we really may be turning a corner... steady quarter on quarter production increases just as the oil price is stabilising in the 60s ! If they can work on refinancing the loans later this year then they should change the company’s name to Phoenix Energy!

I agree about the market cap growing more due to oil prices production rather than oilfield service / RRDSL! This is because RRDSL is actually being seen as a liability rather than an asset at the moment. It came with tens of millions worth of debt and hundreds of unionised works that need to be fed, watered and kept happy! We have to aggressively market these services or we could end up fitting the bill for those workers from our already dwindling cash reserves!!! The next 3 months will be key !! Reach 1000 BOPD and sell RRDSL services...
