Agree Ajax ! Initially wasn’t sure how far it would drop due to the delay but after it stabilised at this region , I just can’t see it hitting £1.6 or £1.5 (unless something else happens ....! )

I completely agree deep survey! If someone has a medium term view this is easy money ! Everything has been written down in the past few years and the company should be very profitable from 2018 onwards ! Shame about rig delays and the slight 6-8% decrease in production but that trend should change significantly next year following the new wells ! The FPSO issues should also be sorted in the next month or 2 which has been a drag on the share price ! Throw in a potential acquisition or 2 and this is really one of the best oilies in the sector (just an undiscovered gem) ! It can be £2-2.5 and would still be cheap! This 6% dividend is just something you don’t see with many small -medium sized oilies ! I’m happily adding ! Good luck all

Nope I haven’t missed any risks ! The “let's have another look in 2025” doesn’t affect me ! I plan to reduce some shares at the results of the appraisal I can’t see myself being fully invested here until 2025! Not that patient ! Holding aim shares for years is a mugs game ! When you’ve worked hard in a lucrative sector you can occasionally afford to take things known as “Holidays” lol! You will see from my posting history that I am not the most prolific poster on here ! I post as an when (or when a “know it all” needs putting in their place ;)) Nope ! Wrong again the factors I mentioned do not “apply to all aim oilers” for a number of reasons 1- not all aim companies have 1 discovery that is pre-appraisal that their future hinges on! 2- not all aim companies have the same track record of delays to drills and sector underperformance 3- not all companies have the same shareholder base and therefore share trading and volatility risk differ! 4-Not all aim companies have no revenue or cash flow For example I have been heavily invested in a company called Faroe Petroleum (FPM) for many years (I came in at less than 30% of current SP). Although the upside there is much smaller than JOG, the risk is also significantly less! They are a producer with multiple assets in the UK and Norway (risk spread)! They have assets in explo, appraisal, development and production phases (risk spread)! They have over £100 million in cash and hundreds of million in un-drawn RBL funds (no risk of dilution)! They are highly cash generative and have a very potent acquisition strategy ! They have a blue chip investor profile so they very rarely suffer major volatility .... just an example Some people should come with a wealth warning lol ! If you have a major mortgage to pay off, I wouldn’t be going “ALL IN” on an illiquid Aim oily ! Risk management is something you should go and do some research on ! Gamblers mentality on AIM O&G stocks never ceases to amaize me! Far be it from me to tell you what to do with your cash (as much as you like yo advise me) but I certainly would not be investing the family silver on Mediterranean Oil and Gas or BLVN if I was mortgaged to the hill lol LMAO

Cheers GB! Don’t worry it will not go on here LMAO! Re BLVN: KH was one of the reasons I swerved BLVN! They are a company with pretty decent assets and had a huge cash pile but was very poorly run by the Edinburgh gang! I know that I have a bit of an issue with the large salary that our glorious leader is taking but KH was just taking P with regards to salaries and bonuses ! He squandered hundreds of millions of BLVNs cash and delivered sweet FA!

Dear Dickuphim I am NOT “determined to put the company down” ! Quite the opposite! I already know the positives (that’s why I’m invested” I want to discuss both positives and negatives ! There are enough blinkered chearleaders who will shout “800p by November bla bla bla “ ! You need to be open and honest about the downsides of any investment (there are risks in investing in our beloved JOG believe it or not ! ) Some of the risks I see in JOG are :- 1) Further delays to the drill into 2019.. 2) The drill taking place as expected in November but due to the weather conditions Q4 delays are encountered and it ends up costing us significantly more than planned? 3) what if the drill takes place as planned in Q4 but the resources are significantly less than expected? Believe it or not , it does happen in this business. 4) Risks regarding the cash situation which is most certainly not as rosey as your rose tinted specs are portraying ! We have cash for the immediate work programme but will certainly be fundraising next year ! Being a long term investor in the sector I can smell a fund raise a mile off (even before the company issued resolution 5)! 5) General buiness risks 6) General sector risks: what if the oil price goes down over the next 12 months due to Libya KSA and the russkis over producing ? With regards to my educational, experience and investing background (that you seem to want to bring into the discussion), I don’t want to get too into that as I don’t believe that it would right to do so! You are right though I do work in the oil industry and have done for many years for some of the biggest Majors on earth (bigger than our beloved Statoil / Equinor)! I have held a number of both technical and management positions in th UK, MENA and the Far East! I have a long investment history in AIM O&G companies that has afforded me the chance to purchase multiple properties outright (no mortgages) and given me the freedom to retire whenever I want (can’t be too “naive” of an investor)! PS : none of my investments included MOG BLVN or UKOG LOL WHY are you determined to attack me and my credentials rather than discussing the pros and cons of our investment? Play the ball not the man! Gray bird I think there’s a minimum of 25 million bbls down there !so I don’t think it’ll be a case of plug and move on! I think it’s a case of is there 25 million or 125million ++? I just wish they could get on with it ! I would be royally peed off if they postponed it for a 3rd time! It’ll do no help to the share price ! The main reason we are at 1.85 and not 3.85 is because of these issues

Why would Cortina cost less than Verbier? I thought they are in the same area and targeting the same horizon... considering it’s an offset well, my untrained eye would have thought it would have a similar ROP during the drilling process, it would utilise a similar amount of OCTG and take approximately the same time in terms of rig days ! Answers on the back of a post card

Urcca Lmao I like your sense of humour lol!!! Regarding my shareholding of Jog ! I have no intention of ever holding more than £50,000 worth of shares ! As to the exact amount I’m not sure! This is because between 2003- 2008 I learned some tough investing lessons ! So I made some rules for myself that I follow without fail such as : 1) Never put more than 10% of my investment capital in 1 share (no matter how much I “love” it! 2) Never invest more than £50,000 in an AIM listed company ! 3) Risk management always comes first ! Never throw good money after bad by averaging down on a sheet investment! Cut your losses early and move on! 4) Be open and honest and accept both negatives and positives about my investments! Being blinkered Regarding either aspect will be my one way ticket to bankruptcy! 5) Never trust overbearing bulletin board gurus and investment experts! Do my own research. Trust my own judgment and act with conviction Etc etc etc

“By inference, the resolution was included because the directors wanted to have the ability to raise money at short notice to complete a potential deal” I thought our glorious leader said to Malcy that any potential deal would most likely involve debt ? So “by inference “ also by not being successful in raising the money until May 2019 at the earliest ! Does that mean we won’t have the possibility of completing this potential deal? You can’t have it both ways ! If we need to raise money for a deal then NO RAISE NO DEAL!!! We plan to spend more than 50% if our cash this year ! What are we going to do next year ? Ok well just make the remaining cash last until the end of time ! So my apologies the directors have decided to stop development and stop taking salaries and will spend nothing after 31/12/2018 so we can conserve cash !
