NPV surely is a figure based on pure conjecture if all the stars align correctly. A bit like me starting a market stall with a NPV of 2 Billion because in 20 years time I am looking at have a chain of supermarkets !!!

Whilst I can appreciate that SXX cannot give out news re their fund raising attempts as delicate discussions are taking place I cannot see why they cannot give updates on the work and tunneling progress. I guess they may be only giving progress reports to potential backers

If the government did guarantee SXX loans then I do not believe taxpayers would be up in arms. The benefit SXX will bring to the local and national economy would far outstrip any concerns. Look how many taxpayers are furious at the near 100 Billion spent on a rail line they would never use

I guess SXX must be down to something like 150 million left. In all honesty what chance have we shareholders got. We seem to be on a very painful slow journey over the cliff. Don't get me wrong I want this to succeed just as much as the next shareholder but common sense tells me one of the big boys will just walk in and take the company at a pittance and reap all the rewards and the glory and when they are up and running at full capacity just watch the MPS and ministers turn up at the site to congratulate the new owners on such a wonderful buisness whilst all around the country genuine LTSHS are nursing huge losses, hurt pride and feeling sick they have been totally shafted by incompetance and greed
