Why for the last few days the trades are only showing up to 3 or 4 oclock and nothing after that, Looks like someones hiding something,????

I honestly believe that this is far from over and a done deal to AAL. Have such a strong feeling there is a better offer coming in favour of shareholders, When everyone is panicing hold steadys. I am voting no and holding. Good luck to all

We have all been well and truly stuffed.I am a shareholder who bought in at the 15p equity raising with the promise of so much more to come. I am now £28k down and ****ed off, Yes we all invest with the hope of making money which is fine. But when you have the BOD of SXX telling you to buy and you have JPM saying no problem we have 2.5 billion to finish the job if SXX can find 500 from bond holders . with the proviso it was spread amongst many bond buyers. Now we have JPM as SXX main advisers .They pulled the finance, they linked up with AAl they now basically control SXX . Please someone with some ethics come in and finish the job. Not to save my £ 28 k but to restore faith in justice.

I still believe a better offer will materialise in the next 3 weeks before the meeting. Cannot believe there is not a large company willing to snap this up at more than AALs pathetic offer.

What a lovely thing to see. shorting hedge funds have just been burnt to the tune of some 8 billion dollars shorting TESLA with many facing total wipeout. Now some people think shorting is necessary and in only certain cases it is but not when their shear scale can completely trash a good companies share price making them millions, its nice to see them get clobbered as they helped trash SXX

Am I right in thinking Polygon are building a blocking vote to AALs offer at the voting. If so what are their intentions.???

BDO just saving their own necks. Stuff the shareholders they have got us this far now they can **** off with some scraps. We will take it from here it will be in safe hands and we will be mega rich in a few years. The shareholders will get over it.!!!

I agree totally. The consortium is waiting in the wings and will have all the finance in place to table a much more attractive offer. SXX as has been stated many times is going to be a tier 1 mining company with a product incresingly need in the coming decades and the consortium know that by acquiring SXX at a much higher price they will still make millions for their investors and reap the benefits for years to come.

Yes we were sold a pup. If all the hype and promises coming out of SXX were true. Billions in yearly revenue. Top 100 company with 15 billion plus valuation and juicy dividends then companies and entities would have been queuing up to buy SXX when the share price was much higher like 30p. 100 yrs of revenue massive contibution to GDP blah blah blah. The price is now 5.5p. Yes a few more billions to spend to finish the job but thats pocket money to some of the big conglomerates. To be honest, this has been over hyped otherwise there would be a take over battle going on to secure such a valuable asset. and not a pathetic offer that has given the company away on the cheap with us shs the patsies

I do not understand what this MP is talking about by asking whether AA will allow SXX shareholders to stay in the market by AA giving them AA shares for there SXX shares. I mean you just sell SXX and Buy AA simples, unless of course he is asking AA to offer shares instead of cash at a better than 5.5p value

So AA was in talks with SXX over a year ago when the share price was 20p plus. Then came the absolute debacle of the stage 2 finance when 400 million bonds sold and millions raised in 15p offer only to fall at the last fence when after the 15p offer it looked a dead cert that the rest of the finance would be forthcoming. Now AA come in with a bid of 5.5p. about the same as was raised by the bond sale which I believe has been paid back. What an absolute horror story of mismanagement skulduggery and smoke and mirrors. No wonder shareholders are angry, me included and AA are laughing. I have learnt a very hard lesson that shareholders are really just not taken into account when they have invested their money. SXX would not have got this far without us and now we are literally being mugged of our shares for someone else to reap the profits. Last share I will ever buy.

Now apart from all the crap that has been said and gone on, a lot from me I know but I really think the old saying when utter panic sets in hold your ground you will be rewarded. Yes SXX will fall into admin if not rescued. The company has been knocked from pillar to post by banks finance companies bad management and some very strange decisions. We are now entering the end game with a 5.5p bid on the table. And no it will not be withdrawn. This is by far the largest mine of its kind being built in the world with if estimates are to be believed 100 year lifespan. OK AA are a mining company with the expertise to finish the project and reap the rewards. But can we really accept that they are the only entity in he whole world and there are a lot of equity houses, consortiums , wealth funds large mining companies and even wealthy individuals who would love to have an asset of this caliber in their stable. Yes there is risk but thats what makes billions and billionaires. I hold my faith that there will be a higher bid or other solution and I promise to everyone on this board that if I am wrong I will eat whatever is in the cats litter tray on the 31st March. and you will never hear from me again

I truly believe that this is a Tier 1 project with great potential and profit going forward. The offer of 5.5p is now confirmed so all interested parties will know what they have to do to snap this up at a rock bottom price. I am holding fast as I believe that another if not several interested parties will now show their hand and can see another bid coming in at 7 to 8p with a battle ensuing and a final price of 12p. No point in selling now at 5.5p. This is an opportunity to reduce ones losses.

Looking at the whole picture from start to the finished full production scenario I would say the AA offer has just about paid for the original planning permissions because without them nothing happens . Interesting to know what they would have achieved in an auction. Bet it would be more than the AA offer

In the reuters article it states that SXX have been in talks for the last 9 months. That puts it before the stage 2 fund raising of the bonds and also the 15p share offering. SXX must have known along time ago that the AA deal was the one they would be pursuing but still went ahead with screwing more money out of shareholders. CF when he said taking the company private and that shareholders should have taken finacial advice whilst at the same time taking 100s of millions off them more than stinks. The AA deal is what SXX wanted all the time. The shareholders money being used to take the works further and then the shareholders thrown down the mine with a pathetic offer. If this is such a world class asset then there should be a queue of buyers lined up to put in a bid as they would surely want such an asset in their portfolio. If another bid does not come in then it proves we have all been hoodwinked into believing in a dream that was never there.

If this is such a world class project with 100yrs to run and billions in profits to make you would think there would be a queue of bids from top companies and investment firms

Sounds that there is a vague reference in this letter that another bid is going to come in
