RE: why would a placing re nec?26 Jun 2019 23:25
Impression I get is there was never any real intent on producing from the Mengo that was just a carrot to support the SP and sentiment, I think the company needed time, for what purpose I dont know. No equipment availability or SNPC funding or something, but theres been too many deadlines strung out with little to no progress since drill results which brought us to 6p.
The positive for me is regardless of the timescales the oil has its value and will IF finally produced dictate the Mcap. Hopefully come the end of Q3 we'll be anticipating first oil or at least drilling which lifts the SP... The big disappointment here and why theres disbelief is the company declared quick success after the last drill and like 99% of AIM they didn't deliver so shouldnt be a surprise.
Miton haven't sold so Id imagine they're happy to wait. I Expect they wont be selling below 10p unless they can get cheap shares. Although on the flip side iis arent always in the know. (Woodford etc)
Conservative estimate we'll all be pissed off till Q4.
