Jambo thats what makes the investment case FOR GGP. A diversified portfolio built by GH, he hasn't just spent money developing the flagship project. EG could be a failure (doubt that though) and we could still be multibagging from current SP, Hence why I also have circa 4M shares as of this month. I better not be wrong. Lol

Tom - while the placing wasnt expected, GH has stated he would raise cash for if a strategic opportunity presents itself. It felt a but sneaky but I dont feel its bad news, it wasn't a necessity it was an opportunity off the back of a great find. Any potential loss from that placing will be a drop in the ocean imo. Its already forgotten about with the amount of news coming. Reality is we've had no bad news on any of our projects but the market always seems to drive us lower. Newmont was the only dent weve taken and it was 100% outwuth our control.

Either way im happy with the progress being made, think we'll be heading for 2p in the nxt few weeks but DYOR.

I agree, obviously the Newmont stuff is all speculation but GH was always excited about EG and im hoping he's now quietly optimistic. Did he sell the Havieron placing shares off the back of pending EG results? Im guessing so...I now own over 1000th of GGP :) lol

This and many other shares seem heavily manipulated. Paul Johnson said he looks for companies that are a good investment and the market doesnt have a "play" on it. Its common knowledge they are doing it but nothing changes.

Those shares would have been flipped after the last RNS up 35% up as well ;)...

Jambo going on recent articles from NTOG CEO I wouldnt be so sure. Open a short do a placing at reduced price, SP falls, guaranteed profit on ur short. Whether its a what happened here no idea. Just wouldnt rule it out.
