£8.7 million in sales within a couple of weeks, capacity due to increase to 2m over the next week, with another manufacturer coming online to increase capacity further. This is a mid-tier pharma cap in the making, forget the noise. Just give it time. At this rate they'll be posting 30m rev per month going forward.
Yep one of the big things people are missing is the amount of stock to make the kits. I've read up on a few big testers out there and they have less inventory than NCYT (who said sometime ago that they have enough inventory for 3.5m kits back then and acquiring more)
VanV - I agree its one of the best out there and will do very well. But all I'm saying is don't expect them to corner a whole market, they will be many players in all markets. NCYT will do very well, and I expect there mcap to more than double at least from here, but they alone can't produce enough kit for global demand, it will be a combined effort to help with this horrible thing.
I'm long here, but there will be other suppliers like thermofisher who will help probably supply the UK, it won't be all by NCYT. Don't pin your hopes on that. NCYT will have a small slice of a very large pie with all the testing around the world. This small slice will still be huge for NCYT. I expect their demand for the product will grow and grow over the coming weeks and even at 2m a month capacity they won't meet that demand. I
Look there are going to be many suppliers of kits around the world. NCYT's kit is one of the very best currently out there. Even if there are better ones, the demand is outstripping supply. No one company is going to supply the world with test kits, there will be many. What we do know is that NCYT's kit is fast, accurate, cheap, is approved by the NHS, and they have raw materials to produce 3.5m tests and soon 2m a month. The demand means they are already looking to increase this capacity. NCYT already supply to 60 countries, and I best most of them are demanding more tests. 80m mcap is cheap, it will be multiples of that if the demand continues - which we see no reason for it not too . A few more updates on sales will firmly put a bottom in and the sp will start rising accordingly.
Craig Mullins on radio 5 - Summary - significant volumes of kits being supplied all over the world. Massive pipeline of demand, spending significantly to increase manufacturing capacity to meet huge demand.
This is only going on way, even with many suppliers out there, there is just huge demand. NCYT will be making a fortune compared to its mcap.
BP may have lots of copper which is falling, but it also has average grades of silver of 128g/t. Silver is expected to be one of the biggest risers out of this pandemic. Actual silver is currently being bought over 70% above spot prices in some places. Shows the trend.
COdey - why are you posting 24/7 on something you don't believe in. Well that's obvious its not for our enlightenment. Where did I say test everyone. I didn't. The WHO said "TEST, TEST, TEST" but you are obviously a brighter virologist than all of them put together. They say it for a reason, the more testing the better we can control this situation. I'll say it again, SUPPLY is outstripping DEMAND. It will even more following the WHO's recommendations. NCYT will play a critical role in that.
The simple facts are the WHO say "TEST, TEST, TEST", the reason is simple you need to know who's got it, to treat it correctly, and to proper model the outbreak to control it. NCYT is dealing with 60+ countries, the NHS are onboard, they are expanding their capacity 10 fold with views to increase this even further. Its simple really. The Cobra meeting said they will be upping testing over the coming weeks, and all NHS staff will be regularly tested. NCYT are the most recommended test currently out there by the WHO. There will be others who will test sure, but its becoming a rapidly very large pie, with many countries without even the facilities to create tests. DEMAND is outstripping SUPPLY. Basic economics 101. The mcap here is peanuts for the demand that is coming.
Anyone who doesn't think NCYT is gonna make a truck load, even without the USA is a fool or disingenuous. They are selling to 50+ countries, this number will grow. People will demand testing. Most countries in the world can't develop their own testing. Forget the USA, there are billions outside of that that will be jumping to buy this product. Its a small slice of a extraordinary large pie. And what's even better and more important it may help save lives.
US want to give tests to everyone who wants one
