The term used in the RNS, may be the reason for the delay. In other words there’s to much interest to reach a consensus, this then leads on to the rest of the RNS which says they need time to analyse the situation and make decisions based on further study and analysis, why the 32% drop you may ask, given the strength of the share price since 1st September and still appears so today, the only shares that came on the market in any quantity was from Lanstead without these we would of got to 30 p +
Here's a breakdown of the term interested parties/partners as a barrister would interpret.
Individuals or organizations that can influence, be influenced by, or perceive themselves to be influenced by a decision or activity.
They have a stake or concern in the outcome of a specific matter.
The use of "a number of" indicates there are multiple such entities involved, rather than just one or two.
For example, in a business or legal context, "interested parties" often refers to:
Customers
Suppliers
Employees
Shareholders/Investors
Competitors
Regulators/Government bodies
The local community or public
The specific nature of these "parties" depends entirely on the context in which the phrase is used. For instance, in a business sale, "a number of interested parties" would refer to several potential buyers or investors.
