My opinion FWIW, GH and board have been very quiet recently. To me it seems there is a concern at board level that there is a risk of a buyout of some sorts but GH is not at liberty to voice anything due to the JV. The speed at which NC are moving is outstanding almost to the point of it being unbelievable. So here is my take on it - GH uses any tool he can to up the SP.
GH buys more shares. He uses Primus and Leningas as mouthpieces. The timing is very evident - use the lead time of NC next announcement to puch the SP to new levels.
PS - Paddy is GH's secret weapon. So secret that GH is unaware of it.

Aspirational69, so you are inexperienced and looking for advice. You are doing very nicely on your GGP shares so far. Let the 300,000 shares roll and keep the 10k nice and safe. Just enjoy the ride you are having.

Totally agree ipad, the question is at what point and price is acceptable to both parties.

IT depends who you are with (trading platform). to put in into an ISA you would probably need your agent to sell the shares and then buy back in an ISA (risky at the moment with all the news due).
However, If you have a partner/spouse then you could gift some shares to them, thereby doubling the CGT allowance. But you may need to prove that this is a gift and not just a means to an end.

There are some more massive trade in value.. A second £43k buy and what looks like a £62k sell. What the ?

Very strange trading with the large trades. Almost looks like they are being transferred.

I had a thought that the loan was being converted and this was the reason for the large sells. My previous post confirms that this is not the case.

Yesterday I emailed the company to ask for some clarification on the Chris Jefferies sale/loan of shares to the company in January. The company responded very quickly ( I am impressed). Thought I would share the rsponse:-

Thank you for your enquiry. I can confirm that the net proceeds from the sale of shares by Chris Jeffries were advanced back to the Company in the form of a zero coupon convertible loan, to provide the Company with additional working capital. The notes can be converted at any time up until the fifth anniversary of the loan, which is the compulsory redemption date.
However, there are a number of restrictions that apply to any proposed conversion, primarily:
- the Company not being required to publish a prospectus in connection with the issue of shares on conversion of the Notes
- no obligations under Rule 9 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers being triggered by such issue of shares.
- the Company has sufficient shareholder authority to satisfy conversion.

As Chris Jeffries currently controls over 30% of the Company's shares and associated voting rights, he would be in breech of the obligation under Rule 9 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers on any conversion that would increase his overall holding in the Company. This effectively prevents him from converting the loan at any time other than as a part of a future issue of new shares. Please also note that we are heavily regulated by the FCA and are therefore obligated to inform the market of any share-dealing undertaken by Chris, who is the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. We have had no reason to publish any such announcements.
