To add to optimist 13 update:

The number of trucks stated was

Directly leased 42 (this was reduced from a higher number to achieve flexibility)

Short term lease/rentals and contract up to c.120 to cover busy periods (some of this is day or specific load/journey hire)

c.90-150 trucks in total depending on season.

For the pedantic I know there is a slight discrepancy in maths but these were the actual numbers quoted. (taken from my notes made during the meeting.

Hi Kenny

I did attend the AGM today, There were plenty of empty chairs in the room with just two PI's present and that included myself.

I like to reflect and think about what was said today. I think the term is "its best to sleep on it", but todays AGM will not alter my own views on the company and change my current investment strategy.

What I will say is that both of us investors present made it clear as small PI's that we considered the information published by Afriag was insufficient and that there should be a greater level of transparency in the business between the various company's.

DL has invited us to forward any questions to him and which/what areas of reporting could be improved upon. The caveat however is that he does not want to provide any information that is commercially sensitive.

All motions were past. The meeting was held in an open way and DL answered all the questions that were raised with him but we ran out of time so I didn't complete my list.

I can confirm that it was the 2016 Accounts that were voted on. We should expect an AGM/EGM within two to three months to vote on the 2017 accounts and to provide a wider company remit as per the latest RNS.

I will probably write a little more tomorrow once I have reviewer my own notes and maybe exchanged a couple of emails with the other investor present.

Hi Kenny Breaking down lorry types into meaningful groupings for Afriag, what categories would you use and expect? What are the H & S implications of using the same trailers to transport food/produce in one direction and waste plastic / rubber in another? Have you any indicative figures for running (diesel consumption in uk gallons) HGV's both empty compared to a full load? Thanks Wolves

Kenny, I have though! Have you any questions you wish to be asked that would not legally compromise either you or me? As you are excellent at finding info and trucking appears to be in your blood, do you have any Southern African bench marking info based on similar companies? Can anyone enlighten me as to why the 2018 AGM Resolution relates to the financial period ended 31st December 2016? Resolution 1 � Receiving and adopting the Accounts The Board recommends the receiving and adopting of the audited accounts for the financial period ended 31 December 2016 together with the Report of the Directors� and the Auditors� Report. And does not also include a resolution to receive and adopt the accounts for the period ended 31st December 2017 given that these audited accounts have been released and are in the public domain? JP I agree with you. The questions from 2016 accounts still remain a year later. Transparency over and above the published accounts is key for me here. Wolves

Maybe the results are so good that they are having difficulty fitting all the positives information into the report! But then again...... Hi Kenny I had got a tad excited thinking that we had added an additional 17 trucks (if you count the ghost just to the right and under the Hover Junction sign). Oh well, 16 is fine with me. As long as they are all being utilised to provide us with positive cash flow and a healthy contribution to the profits that I expect at least one of the Afriag companies may make. I still enjoy reading your posts on Afri plus some of the other companies we have a mutual interest in. Please continue as the reported information from those in the know on Afriag is a little thin in my opinion. All the best Wolves

Worth listening to. KA provided a set of timelines: Permitting of 30-45 days. If achieved this is very positive IMHO. Procurement of components for first commercial 25T unit during the next few months. Commission of 1st commercial 25T unit before the end of 2018. Its now up to KA and his team to deliver a fully operational, 25T a day Christmas present to us investors. I believe in the concept and have witnessed the G3 in action at one of the Investor days but I am not blind to the risks. What I know is that I was happy to purchase this stock at a price of over 0.01p and with the company having IMO de-risked further, I have tucked a few more shares away during the last couple of weeks as they compliment my strategy to investor risk and potential returns or maybe losses within my investment portfolio.. Kenny Many thanks for all your posts. I have now found what I was looking for and it makes for some interesting reading. Not unexpected though. I was one of the no shows at the AGM. I had arranged to vote in person rather than by proxy but I couldn't justify the time or expense. If akaDolly reads this board I apologise for my no show. I will be only too pleased to make his/her acquaintance at the next AGM if we are both still invested here. I don't mind asking commercially sensitive questions. BOD only have to state that they can not respond to the question raised due to.......... Any reply would be good though!
