Mike001 this is called a discussion board for a reason - im sure we can discuss the flanks to our hearts content & at no point is anyone of us amateurs trying to say we know better (with only half the info the BOD have at their disposal) .

Incidentally im at no point knocking our BOD choices (I think they are doing a great job) its just the shear power of NN in that local vicinity carnt be discounted - even if the law is on our side.

Yes for NN it is.

It is also in NN interest to hold the flanks licence up until after any potential sale, so they can reduce the takeover cost as much as possible.

Or at least reduce chinese offer prices, which they can then trump at the last minute.

If we were all posting on the NN bb I wouldn't hesitate to fully agree & also remain unconcerned about the MT flanks, however as we are on the EUA bb & we know the local power of NN - that flank licence is a concern.

In all cases the fair value of MT is significantly lower without the Flanks licence, than with it.

How could anyone even make a serious bid on the company without it ?

It dosent make sense to me to put the company up for sale without it.

Therefore I have to ASSUME they have it before the for sale went up & have just not RNS it - tho why that should happen I dont know - as you would think its in shareholders & potential bidders interest to know if the licence is included in the sale price.

We cannot make informed decisions without it.

Dont forget anyone trying to get a hostile takeover percentage - will initially be competing with Shorters desperate to exit, regular punters who missed out at pre 7.2p & big boys who were accumulating with all the after hours buying pre suspension.

I think the buying pressure will outway any selling pressure - coupled with any rerate from initial offer.

Anyone selling will at least await for the initial upswell before offloading any - why wouldn't you.

The only thing I find a little odd atm is the for sale sign going up without Flank RNS.

None of us believe the BOD will sell without them, as they represent a x6 multiplier on any existing SP.

Could we therefore assume that the Flanks have been approved in full (despite no RNS)& that was the catalyst for the for sale sign going public ?

What a great BOD we appear to have.

I no I selected EUA as an investment opportunity in part because of the directors, but this is aim & you never can be certain.

I also realise that my stress levels went through the roof only last month (but thats my fault for going 100% into this not theirs), when I look back on the Nomad situation, I can not fault them for using every opportunity to both protect my investment from Covid drop & prolong suspension whilst deals were being done (& thanks again for giving us 1 days grace before suspension kicked in - really needed that not to the last minute :)

At no point can I see they have put themselves ahead over the general shareholders, new appointments even when given shares didnt result in dilution to the rest - literally what other aim company treats its existing shareholders this well.

I'll quite likely support the BOD no matter what price (as long as its higher than 7.2p) they end up proposing, as they have earned my trust.

(Finally what a contrast to Amerisur, who couldn't have done much more to put me off aim investing for life)

Agreed - the forum is more, a stress release atm tbh - just think how awful this looked only 1 month ago with one day to go before de-listing - alot of us have been under alot of stress(not just Covid related) - its just letting off steam, with others who understand whats been goin on (its not like most of us talk about our investments in the real world)

That said the negative posters havent helped at all, esp during the bleaker days (in particular the short attack from 4p to 2p almost felt like a wipe out), so they deserve nothing from this process.

Yep prolly Bobrad @ 20.5p I'll have done my £1m lifetime target - tho most of it is trapped in a SIPP for a long while, @ 36p my SIPP breaks, so after that my excitement is slightly tempered - but really anything above 7.2p & it'll be my best investment - tho I did put all my eggs in one basket & shat myself sufficiently to lose a couple of retitement years from stress.

Ie I think I have done well from this investment - tho who knows the future - hence I keep up my regular SIPP contribution.

In fairness if this comes off big - alot of us will need some financial advice - still carnt bring myself to cancel my SIPP contributions - till its all done & dusted :)

So if you hold ISA EUA & a deal with NN comes about as Cash+NN shares how would you deal with the following:-

ISA - Cash element flows in / Share element gets dumped into trading account(which you could sell immediatley at no profit - re cost price covered by ISA movement = selling price)

SIPP - Get cash & NN shares to hold np (well except for breaching £1m cap)

Trading acc - Get cash & thank the lord for the NN shares (which you carry on holding - so as to avoid CGT issues)

LISA - OMG no idea - Cash fine / NN shares dumped out of LISA (maybe with a charge ?)to a trading acc ?

Sound about right ?

Can NN shares be held in an ISA ? (should they offer Cash + Shares)

Also if a cash + Shares offer is made how would that be reflected in our SP (if we are trading) - ie NN shares may not be to everyones taste (dunno if I can even trade them at Hargreaves etc...)so surely some will sell prior to such a deal ?

Dont forget all the after hours large trades for weeks before suspension - someone was building a position.

Should your SIPP £1m limit get monstered - what options do you have & how bad are the tax effects come withdrawal time ?

calamari you will have me all teary eyed in a moment - Oh hang on, didnt the shorter scum try & rob our shares as they flash crashed us to 2p only 2 months before suspension - they get what they deserve - done.

As much as i want to move more over to my ISA, I think id rather stay suspended - we all took our chances prior to the suspension - it feels fitting.

They had a decent offer for the whole lot & are now (through the formal process) are opening the bidding war.
