I agree pub conversions are good, but their beer offerings are awful. Cask is sometimes non existent and beers are overpriced. So while people go in to watch an event/game they do not stay for a later drink or bother coming back for a while.

Hope things will improve, but a 30% drop from 67p, and capex rising again is a poor sign.

More importantly, the market is showing its disapproval.

Yes, this is going downhill fast now.. cannot believe with a change of ceo, cfo, reduced debt, etc, we are still heading back to a junk status sp again. Surely not going back to 30p and under ??

Time for this underperforming management to stop pretending to run this business and instead put their efforts into selling it to get some shareholder value back.

And here we go again, heading to sub 50 fast at this rate. This one always gets battered more than most for some reason in such times. Hoped these days had gone with less debt, but shows there is alot more improvement still needed.

The half hearted comments by the company ref dividends returning will have gone out the window again as well, of course.

Sp continues to head south again.. at least low 70s next week no doubt after the budget. McCall has obviously been meddling in the sale negotiations and ba***s it up again !!.

Hope it does, but there are a lot of hurdles, not least the handicap of having McCall as the CEO.

So we get the same rubbish in another update that says things are going well, revenues etc exceeding targets. Blame TAR again for being down for the umpteenth year etc, blame the economy and anything else as long as it’s not the bad management… but of course cost savings will be found again and the next World Cup will save us. So all is fine in McCall’s world. Let’s keep paying her on the gravy train !!

And the slow roll down To 65 - 60p continues. What is that over paid joke of a CEO doing to this company except running it into the ground and alienating major investors ? And Some spoke of it going to 85p again….

And here we go, slow decline to 65p, this or next week. Of course, nothing to do with the total mismanagement by dame McCall and her trusty board of donuts…

Just a couple of weeks ago dreams were of 85p by some on here.. and yet here we are again at 75 and possibly going lower. When will they SACK this CEO and the bunch of doughnuts on the BOD ?

Never mind dividends. The CEO is paid millions to create shareholder value and yet we’ve seen the sp drop over 90p since she has been in charge with no sign of recovery.

Jamie should re-assess his “pure-play hospitality company “ strategy. It’s going nowhere and has not made a dent in the SP yet. Cannot get to 45p, and 50p as mentioned on the board, seems in another universe..

Pity they don’t put some more effort into SELLing the whole lot instead.. here’s wishing!!

No, the CEO had nothing to do with Trumps actions, but her 5+ years leadership has left the company with an sp that will struggle again this year, markets showing their lack of confidence in it, and now merger talks going nowhere (Also questionable if it would benefit shareholders anyway..whom she clearly has no interest in)

Markets now recommending SELL.. SP dropping to 50s this summer. How much worse has it got to get before they get rid of Carolyn ?
