The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Lets hope they don't mess up being a bank compared to an Insurance company.
SP at junk status here, don't they need to concentrate on their core business and get that right first ?
Terrible management performance..
Yes, can accept your points to a certain extend GM, but yet as always this SP continues its slide 1pc or more regularly, while most in the pub sector gain or hold stable/drop modestly .. Is the market gambling on this to fail like others recently. ? How much has Stonegate problems affected it it ? Something is very wrong here, refinancing issues ?
Yes, lowest it's ever been, despite recent good results. Must be some thing else going on here ..troubling or down right mismanagement.
Agreed, every year we get told a sports tournament that will change our fortunes apparently, but it never does..
However, change of CEO certainly will. Despite her efforts, it's still at 69p .. Nothing will change here till she goes, the markets simply do not have confidence in her.
Yes, this has truly become a basket case. terrible performance
..... and yet the share price is heading swiftly to all time lows of sub 26p with ALL PUBS OPEN and many doing decent business.
We all know the SP was higher in COVID with no trading. So they are doing something wrong, as clearly the markets have no confidence !!
Disgraceful performance by Marstons management and BODs, more need to go/be sacked.
Sp at 27.5p (JUNK STATUS), sorry can't see anything to be positive about at the moment.
In fact, starting to wonder what the new CEO is doing ? Was nice to see he bought some shares.. SP is suffering even worse since he's come in (no new broom sensation..). Markets not impressed so far ... ??
He needs to sack more dead wood/wasters on that "idol" BODs, or else they'll manage bring him down with them. Then SELL the lot !
Justin needs to not waste his time on new initiatives, franchises etc, SELL the rest of the brewery to Carlsberg.. if they'll want it in these poor times and try a miracle of selling Marstons as well at the same time. (dreams..)
Indeed, we struggle to get 72p on a good day.. the CEO and her bunch of doughnuts on the BOD are still a long way off from repairing that 30% drop they caused when announcing ITVx and their credibility with the markets.
Great to see another bit of dead wood being thrown out the company, but the SP is lagging terribly (as usual) in comparison to others in the sector today.
Had hoped the new CEO would give a push up, but not to be.. awful performance again.
Have to agree lse2000, looks like it is going to take another 5% or more dip in the next few weeks. It never seems to recover from these stepdowns in sp.
All that investment made by this CEO, who was warned by the markets it wouldn’t work, and here we are sub 60p and will be difficult to get back now.
This CEO needs to be sacked now before we have no company left…shambles
