Something else which has crossed my mind is that the 31st offshore licensing round decisions are to be made in this quarter so i wonder if we are one of the 36 companies that has applied for a licence that could also be positive rns on the horizon.

Not just benin or a new deal, there is plenty of talk around small oil companies at the moment regarding farm in deals heightened by the fact that the oil price has been heading in the right direction so it wouldnt surprise me if we hear about a farm in for crown or jamaica.

Well i just topped up AGAIN, 3.5p seems a bargain especially since the delay in news is the only thing that is taking this price down now. We have a cracking board and very good assets. Remember the best things come to those who are patient and patients is all this share needs. We will have our day.

Surely we are due some kind of news soon, every morning i wake up thinking am going to see a transformational deal or a farm down or even a farm in but nope nothing and now even the LSE message board has gone dead. Zzzzzz always tomorrow i guess.

Kalan, sounds like we both bought for the same reason and at similar times. If they hadn't have done the rto we would have all made a pretty packet here as the drills all had positive results. Just for transparency purposes i did buy in today and will be adding as and when i feel the time is right.

Kalan, am with you there i am very tempted to buy right now and even got myself a price but decided to let it go. I probably should buy as it is a good price and its my first tranche (as i like to drip feed in) although i have been here before when the deal was first announced. Originally i sold as soon as savp came back to the market having felt let down at share raise price. I have always felt it was a good deal but the only person who has benefited so far is andrew knott as he is getting his wish to run a mid cap oil company but i think finally maybe now is the time to get back onboard and see some value given back to shareholders.

Well guys from what am seeing we have finally burnt through our previous sellers shares and now we have a big buyer onboard with some nice lumps being purchased today. Oil price going in the right direction too and if we can get the purchase of some producing assetts pushed through (as promised) this could finally be our time.

For what purposes would you roleover £100k its not like you can transfer it into an isa as its too high a figure?

Just spotted two large transactions. They appear buys but could they have been whats brought the share price down over the last week or two. i really hope its the end of the big seller. Might be time for my final top up :-)

Could it at all be possible that is the end of the selling, i so hope it is. Am now sat at a 30% loss and only have one more top up available to me so am going to try time it to perfection if i can. Easier said than done, failed about 10 times already :-(

I totaly agree Levi, but am resigned to the fact that there will not be a notification due to the unfair methods that wealthy investors use to purchase shares. Am sure its not as simple as this but because you only issue notifications when you reach a 3% holding. I could quite easily as a married man invest almost 6% in a company by having my wife own nearly 3% also, if you then added other family members that percentage could become quite considerable. Also you then have companies like spreadex who work as a kind of umbrella and group mulitiple different investors together so you have no idea how many shares each investor owns, you only know the total of shares held via spreadex. Am sure you already know all this But it may help other investors if they are not aware.

Levi, am still here too not sold any shares and have only topped up on the low share price. Feels like an absolute steal now and will keep topping up as and when funds become available from elsewhere. By far and away my largest holding. Regarding another placing i just cannot see that happening unless something major is in the pipeline and if that is the case then i would welcome it. I am not here short term like most people on aim i am hoping to ride the wave until we become a midcap company and i can then retire on my uog profits. Regarding the current share price i too am fed up but i have complete faith we will not stay at these levels for too long. We still have circa £4m in the bank and there is no way our seller can possibly have much left as we have been churning through some good volume of late. Once he is cleared it will be interesting to see where the share price goes.

Jim, i have just written a text message to a mate of mine saying exactly the same as you 15mmbls found but because its been completely fragmanted in the rns’s its almost been forgotten about. The bonus is at least we are churning through a good sackful of shares so new buyers coming onboard

Also bought some more this morning although missed out on the real bargains early on. Took me 30mins to get the order to go through. Anyone else having problems buying today?

Yeah Brooko this is looking very good now, i see RBD have invested more money in Corallian so those guys have obviously been encouraged by the bonus oil we have found. Hopefully investors will finally start seeing the potential here especially now oil has already been found.

With all the CPR’s being completed now and all giving great results its going to be an exciting place to be in the coming months. At any point we could see a major farm in which could send this share into orbit. Especially after the colter well has been drilled as there will be no reason for investors to be cautious anymore. Many people nowadays are worried to invest until drill results have been completed, which is understandable in most cases but this colter well is different it has 58% COS, is an appraisal well and is just a small part of a much bigger picture so the way i see it is this is a great opportunity to get in cheap. If colter comes in this will go gangbusters if it doesnt there maybe a short lived tiny drop which new investors and existing investors will take advantage of. I myself will certainly top up if colter is a duster, however this result is unlikely due to its location adjacent to wytch farm which at peak production was producing 110000 bpd

Anyone else notice the ARCM placing today, it has a very familiar ring to it. The company was approached by two family offices to raise money and has warrants attached at approx 50% uplift to the current price. Its possibly all coincidental but am hoping that means our sellers have moved on to their next project and are just left with the warrants should the company do well. If i am correct it seems a very interesting game they are playing as they have lost money short term but see UOG and ARCM as long term money makers. If there are no tr1’s issued at ARCM then that will show they are using the same vehicle or vehicles to keep below the threahold so they can exit quickly without anyone knowing.

Over the number of months the selling has been going on there has been far more than 2.2m sold. Gunsynd maybe selling but some other large holder must have been too

Think everyone is depressed the share hasnt moved as expected, this includes myself as this is my biggest holding by far. Looking at this more positively though there is no way who ever the seller is has too much left now. The selling has been going on for 3 months now and even if brian tried to sell his entire holding he would be just about out by now. My guess is that its the european families who took part in the placing that have been selling. Maybe they were upset at ploughing £3m into UOG so they could purchase a game changing asset only for the company to pull out last minute. The other reason they could be selling is because they have warrants to cash in on at 8p should the share price start doing well.
