The share I used to like - the company attitude stinks along with many things they do - My direction has not changed. I would always seize on any opportunity if a share presents itself and wont refrain from putting a view forward. .
If you don't like the facts about the matter in hand then its tough s**t as the saying goes.

Just plain and simple viewpoints.
My plan is also simple - wait till the further drop comes and get in (again) Glad I got out in 2016.
Thanks for reminding me of the Walsh plan - he tried it back then and continues to do so.
Two "moans"in 4 years - Hardly that of an alleged slighted ex employee! Just fed up with unrealistic posters unable or unwilling to see the complete picture.
I have confidence in the ability for IAG to reverse the share in the long run.

Try and concentrate right up to Gallego's parting comment.
Keep on fooling yourself as to the position here. IAG Are good at wasting money . Admission of money wasted on the original IT development. The fiasco over fuel hedging . Oh yes - the price fixing episode.
So - try convincing BA staff right now that spending cash is a great idea when their jobs are at risk.
In all probability there will be a buy out of Air Europa at a vastly reduced price.
Too many here on the board with little to no sense of reality !!

BA staff being treated like dirt over terms and conditions - potential strike
BA hub in Heathrow - hardly any flights
Iberia hub in Madrid - hardly any flights
Level - gone into liquidation.
Aer Lingus hub in Dublin - spokesman quote - “decimation in demand for travel”. Plus rumour that they may go bust.
Lets see what the half yearly report says on Friday.

Have not the flow rates been published somewhere - I cant find them but they must be there as some certain posters kept telling everyone how well they had done in the sweepstake, which was if I recall based on flow rates.
I would be interested to know. Having said that as Leo said that for 500,000 outlay would produce payback in 2/3 months , one could work something out.

baraboy - i read somewhere that Stena also had a clause to take shares in lieu of cash but I am struggling to find the article.

The article alludes to this arrangement. It says :- "Consequent on the signature of the rig contract, Stena Drilling has also been granted certain options to invest in BPC or the project."

Sorry, I forgot to add - 15th June is the earliest date BA can start issuing redundancy notices to its staff, although Willie Walsh says they wont be issued on that date. Bearing in mind that he is a rather underhand devious player, don't hold your breath!!

My guess is that the staff , unions, MP's and quite frankly the general public are so disgruntled over this issue over terms and conditions and as it takes only a relatively little proportion to bring the airline to a halt , my money is on the share price to bobble around where it is and possibly plummet as this dispute runs into all out war. One can argue the pros and cons all day long over this issue but , put yourself into these guys shoes - suddenly over years of living to a certain salary, you are somehow going to try to live on and support your family on maybe less than 50% of your earnings? If that's OK then tell me your employers name and I will petition on your behalf that you agree with indiscriminate pay cuts and would gladly take one.
The share price will return to pre dispute levels, but when? I'll gamble on the fall then get back in.
There is plenty of opportunity on much more stable companies at the present at very low prices that do not have disputes. Make money while this sorts itself out.
