Shorts decreasing, and back open for half term with no restrictions in place is a big mover in my opinion. Ski season saved and people will be thinking about summer. Hopefully the financial PR continues from BA and airlines.
Doesn’t the share price reflect the value of the company? This means the future value, iAG has debts to cover which has been the cloud but the increase in booking revenue will take care of this.
All this good news is really positive imo

COVID tests for fully-vaccinated Brits returning to the UK are set to be scrapped in a major boost for half-term holidays.
Day two tests have already been downgraded from PCRs to cheaper lateral flows, and they could soon be ditched altogether.

The move would allow families a stress-free getaway come February 18 when most schools break up for a week, with no need to fork out for the at-home kits or visit test centres.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps is understood to be poised to make the announcement on January 26 when Plan B restrictions are also due to be axed.
A source close to the Cabinet minister told The Times: "We are looking at removing all Covid tests for vaccinated travellers by the end of January, which is likely to coincide with the review of the Plan B measures on January 26."

The end of restrictions means mandatory mask wearing at schools, on public transport and at indoor events, controversial covid passports, and demands that people work from home will finish on January 26.
All that will remain will be a requirement to isolate for five days with a positive covid test and the need to take lateral flow tests for international travel.
Health Secretary Sajid Javid was last night said to be “sure” that the restrictions will not be needed after the January deadline.
The Sunday Express learnt that the Prime Minister had already been handed an ultimatum before Christmas by senior Conservative backbenchers that he would face a leadership vote of confidence if he tried to bring in more restrictions.
The threat came after 101 Conservative MPs opposed the current restrictions in a Commons rebellion on December 14.
Conservative MPs have made it clear to Mr Johnson that restrictions needed to end as soon as possible.

Their plan for Boris emerged as civil war broke out among the Conservatives over the Downing Street party scandal — with some calling for Mr Johnson’s head.
Covid Plan B curbs — including vaccine passports, compulsory masks and work from home orders — are loathed by Tory MPs and due to be reviewed on January 26.
One Cabinet minister told The Sun yesterday: “There’s a very easy way to get back into MPs’ good books, but there will be a fight.”
They added that the PM would need “stomach” to stare down medics and teaching unions who want mask wearing to continue for months to come.
But they said the plan is “his only ace left to play”.
