RE: Single Dose Vaccine 52% - Less effective than thought20 Jan 2021 13:35
Come on Porky, stick to what you are good at, which is reporting and highlighting the good news and projections for Novacyt. It takes 21 days to confer any immunity and the vaccine has hardly been out for any length of time to get adequate data. This is just for the Pfizer vaccine as well. The Oxford one, which the UK has signed up to most of, has been trialled for a three month wait until the booster ( I was in it and got first dose in July, second dose in September). Current roll out is recommended in the current way (as suggested by scientists in the field) for doubling the number with some immunity rather than halving the number with better immunity.
