The EMS-1001 RNS appear this week?
Tomorrow will be approximately 34 days since the programme started.
No point in guessing the outcome, not that we haven't!! lol
I've topped up as far as I think is prudent.
Not sure if there is much spare stock available.
I wonder if some traders have gone short on Echo, taking a gamble?
Badly burnt fingers may be their fate.
Or is everyone sitting on their hands and holding their breath??
What I would say is, to be ready for all eventualities.
I have read that those who have used the "stop loss" mechanism for protection have had their shares "stolen" from them by a sharp fall in the SP, which then returned to normal or higher levels.
Placing a "limit order" can sell your shares on or above a predetermined price. But how happy would you be if the price went way above your set price?
When going on holiday with no guarentee of internet access, I have set limits. Just once it cost me a little, and a lesson learned.
So no chance of me being away from a computer for the next couple of weeks.
I have got my strategy all worked out whatever the outcome, this is not the time to wing it!!
Will I be awake for a 7.00 a.m. RNS?
Or will it be 14.00 hrs?
Que sera sera!!
Ireland back in accendancy yesterday, Scotland did not help themselves with an error strewn 2nd half.
My lot got past Italy with their second team, with a few 2nd half reinforcements from their 1st's. The table might show 2 wins from 2 games, but if we play like that again I reckon that the French ladies would give us a run for our money!! And that is not meant to be mean to the ladies but sideswipe in no uncertain terms, the men.
Today, England v France at HQ.
Mouthwatering, in the extreme!!.
The bookies give England at 1/7, France 6/1 and 33/1 the draw.
Last week against Ireland, England was 3/1 which was incredibly generous.
I think that today, France at 6/1 is a gift.
But risking your hard earned on England at 1/7 is folly in a 2 horse race. Note, no horse racing at the moment. lol
England may well run away with it, but the French are on occasion capable of the most unlikely of wins.
Like Echo, I can hardly wait.
Have a terrific day.

A great discussion point!?!
A good result in my opinion is a minimum flowrate of 2000bbls/day.
Based on a simple but conservative extrapolation of the Villa Maria flowrate.
That level of income would fund Tapi Aike drilling campaign and also allow more wells in the vicinity of EMS.
A great result, possibly 4000bbls/day.
Maybe an estimate of OIP (oil in place) would also be good.
Also something about derisking similar structures in the vicinity,
The above would be the ideal RNS in my mind, but at this point one can only speculate.
I am sure that we all have an idea of what we would like to see.
With feet on the ground, a number that is rational rather than fanciful.
Nice to be able to pick numbers without the impediment of reality.
The one thing that is 99% predictable is that within 2 weeks we will have our RNS.
Only then can we have a true feel of what we "actually" have!!
It may be magnificent or it might be disappointing, only time will tell.
Enjoy your weekend!!

My feeling, and it is only that is there is nothing untoward here, if there has not been an equipment failure.
Fracking Tobifera is absolutely normal procedure and the crew doing it will have lots of experience.
We know that Echo, CGC, Sclumberger and a bunch of experts have due to the financial importance of EMS-1001 will have discussed every scenario from A-Z before the operation commenced.
We know that the Villa Maria well some way away produces 300 bbls/day from a 4m interval. We are fracking 2 X 15m intervals with the addition of other naturally fracked horizons.
My pure guess is that the rates that they are seeing are at the higher end of their estimates, whatever they are.
But that is ONLY my opinion and I may well be incorrect.
Edison said in their August 2018 report that this well will be under close scrutiny, if successful it will have major implications for the surrounding acreage, the region and the local government in terms of potential tax revenue.
CGC/Echo cannot get this well wrong, that is not an acceptable outcome.
The most important aspect of the RNS when released will be the wording.
You can guarantee that it will be purely factual, not be exuberant or ambiguous, it will be required to survive close technical scrutiny by oil companies, the regional authority, G-C and the market who will be required to price the shares realistically based on the RNS.
And in the event of failure or a poor outcome, downwards.
At least that is what I think.
Let us just hope that the operation has been successful and the result is what Echo indicated that it might be.
I will then be able to retrieve my bottle of Bolly from the fridge and toast a terrific investment.
But no jumping the gun as yet, just wait.
The counting of chickens must remain on hold!!
It is just as well that I have 3 games of rugby this weekend, to keep me distracted!!
WT
No bad news which is a bonus.
And we may look forward to good news, next week or whenever.
The SP down 3% as traders try and make some money or others may tree shake from impatient investors.
It is 31 days since the RNS advising us of the commencement of stimulation operations.
My opinion is that longer is more likely to portend good news.
But maybe there has been equipment failure that has held up the program.
You can predict, but no one really knows!?!
And you can guess when the EMS RNS will be released, I think within the next 2 weeks! LOL!!
So while we are waiting:
Saturday
Scotland v Ireland at Murrayfield
The Irish will be looking for a good win after being demolished in their last game, against the odds! Scotland have been playing well of late, especially at home. This will be no walkover for the Irish!!
The weather may well play a factor with winds up to 45mph, 8 deg C with wind-chill a factor and rain a possibility.
The Scottish word is "dreech" and it means as it sounds.
Place kicking will be a lottery as will be kicking out of the hand. And catching the ball with the wind, the cold and some rain may well even it all up.
Italy v Wales in Rome
A very fortunate Welsh team spent 6 days training in Nice, before travelling to Rome. I imagine that they will attempt to put as many points on Italy as they can, history tells us that PD can be important at the end of the campaign. Italy's late flurry of tries against Scotland may have done wonders for their confidence. Wales cannot afford to play as dismally as they did against France if they have any aspirations for this 6N's and the World Cup.
Sunday
England v France at HQ.
England looking to consolidate while France smarting from having presented the last game to Wales on a platter!!
One really has to go for a good win for the home side but I imagine that France have very different ideas. It should be a good game and the French have revamped their back line with Bastareaud playing once again.
Rain forecast, 12 mph and 6 deg C.
Goldigler
I completely agree.
No one knows when the RNS is to be issued until it appears.
In my mind the only way of knowing anything is by having access to satellite photographs / an Ariel drone to get a sight of the flare size. Even then you would require choke details etc in order to make the most approximate of guesstimates!!
This is a "tight hole" and only a few people will know the facts.
So will we, but only when we are told - and that goes for the rest of the world.
SP movement prior to the RNS release will be under close scrutiny.
If unusual patterns of buys/sells are observed, an anvil will fall upon heads.
Years ago it could and did happen, in these days of communication traceability I don't think so.
And any investor who is convinced that AIM is corrupt, should surely stay well clear fo protect their financial well being!!
WT
A bale out of 500,000 shares @ 9.00P at 14.12.
Obviously not the patience to wait for news.
If Echo does do well or better, that might be a very expensive decision.
There again if news is not good, it might be inspired!
Who knows, no one can be certain either way.
Patience is a commodity that at times is in very short supply.

The last RNS regarding EMS was released at 2,00 p.m. UK time, 11.00 a.m. Buenos Aries time when their stock market opens. Unless I am mistaken. CGC is a subsidiary of:
https://www.corporacionamerica.com/cgc.php?lang=en
which is privately owned and CGC is a part of that extensive conglomerate.
I have not been able to find any stock market price and wonder why the RNS was released at 11.00 in Argentina if it is not listed on that or any other exchange.
Might it be for PR purposes, local taxation, or as an asset of some importance within the country?
I am grappling at straws here, I have no credible explanation, so the question is - do you??

All the very best for next week.
I truly hope that Echo can give you a springboard to a new and exciting adventure!!

I believe that it is better to be honest.
I have done well with some investments and had a couple of disappointments.
Those who give the impression of infallibility, in my experience have a passing acquaintance with veracity.
It does amuse me how 14.00 hrs is now the time that punters are focussing on.
I imagine that not many shareholders are currently prepared to sell.
Do the MM's have much stock?
Or are they playing the waiting game, as many of us are?
This is fun, and for me, every passing day without news puts a few more psi into the Champagne bottle.
Sod it, I'll put a bottle of Bolly 2005 into the fridge right now!!!
Will that be tempting fate?
You can always blame me! LOL!
Superstitious, I am not.

Likely to have been YPF, but not certain.

I have got a feeling (no more!), that I read somewhere that this interval was indeed fracked.
This is normal for E&P when going after Tobifera hydrocarbons in this region.
I cannot however, give you a reference for where I saw it. I have read so much and I do not keep everything.
It was this information that I employed when making a guesstimate for the fun " Predict the flowrate of EMS" Sweepstake that I initiated a while back on a quiet Sunday afternoon.
It is exciting that we are at the 4 week point (ish!!) now and should not have to wait more than a couple of weeks to see what flowrate they have managed to achieve.
For those who are not very familiar with exploration in this region, then playing about on Google (other search engines are available lol!!) with key words like Tobifera, CGC, Chile, Crown Point, Fracking, Volcanic etc is a terrific way of losing a few days but will increase your knowledge exponentially!!
I happen to think that if you are not too familiar with the subject of Geology, then Sclumberger is a good resource as is Amazon for a few books on the basics. Yes, a bit like going back to school but it is your money and rather than taking someone else's word on a B/B you might get better clued up yourself.

If the EMS-1001 well test result is spectacularly good, it would not surprise me if it was released after the close of trading in Argentina and the UK. That may give the UK market (CGC is a large conglomerate) time to assimilate the news for Echo before the resumption of trading. I have seen RNS's released after hours, so it is possible.
We might conclude that the guidance of 4 weeks for the EMS program given by Sarah Dees during the most recent "Time with the Team" session is an accurate estimate. It has been said, a quote from MH that longer might indicate better. We are at 4 weeks now as the RNS on 8/1/19 said that the program had started but omitted to say when.
February 18th will do me fine, that'll be six weeks for RNS day!! lol
I just would like "not bad" news, and as far as I am concerned they can take their time releasing it.

I just had a minor top up!!

I listen with interest when you say that 250SWB "is a bit of a joke over on the SOU b/b!"
"Clueless" is a harsh descriptor, unless of course it is accurate.
I do know that he suffers from Tourette's when it comes to posting.
On Friday we were assured at 10.23 a.m. on Friday morning. that he would "desist from posting for a while." His words, not mine.
That lasted until 12.11 on Saturday when we got 2 posts yesterday, and 4 today.
On Thursday, we were treated to 3 interminable posts that would have given Leo Tolstoy's "War & Peace" a run for its money. I don't mind a long post, I will read it or them but 250SWB repeats the same stuff time after time after time ad nauseum!!
He bangs on about 50 bags like it is obvious, but invariably prefaces his lengthy epistles with "All in my own opinion."
Is this what you mean by his SOU modus operandi??
When I see posts like this, by those who claim that they got into and out of a share at the optimal times, I reach for the salt cellar and the vomitorium!?! LOL Really!!
If they are as good as they say, and get this investing lark THAT right, surely they must have done it previously
Then why are they not enjoying the high life on the Cote d'Azur with their trophy wife, 2.4 children and a garage full of Ferrari's and Bentleys rather than posting here.
I am a mere mortal, mistakes I have made a plenty and lost some serious cash. I have also had the some success, more often by luck rather than judgement.
Echo seems to be a fair punt but that is all it is.
It may live up to it's billing and then 250SWB will crow forever as to how he KNEW it was a winner.
He told us all and HE is the modern day Financial Messiah!!
My opinion is that no one really knows, and 250SWB's posts are written by a 21st century Snake Oil Salesman who might or might not get lucky.
Off to prep for the Superbowl tonight. KFC which is my gastronomic weakness and a good bottle.
Knowing my luck, the GF will be snoozing on the sofa by 12.30 and Brady will walk it. B#gger!?%$ lol

What is your definition of GREAT??

3 terrifically "pointless" games of rugby!! LOL!!!
A absolute joy to watch.
Roll on next weekend.

You are truly on the money, what you dislike is what turns me off.
When I saw Christiano Ronaldo "wink" to the cameras after cheating, that was my final straw!!
Scotland are cruising, Italy are done!!

I am not a fan of football in general but will watch the World Cup etc.
I don't detest any sport, some more to my liking than others
Any sport that gets both boys and girls playing sport, exercising, being healthy, learning to be a team member and leadership skills should have a place in society. Rather that then spending innumerable hours on their Xboxes, PlayStations or Smartphones.
Better to play in the school under 15's 3rd rugby team just for fun and the comradery than be obese, diabetic, have high blood pressure and be a candidate for an early demise
That said, I see many positive aspects with regard to sports including rugby, but heck each to their own.
And if your post was a deliberate "wind up" then that speaks volumes.
If you cannot see the benefits of a sport, even if you do not like it; then describing it as pointless shows no appreciation of the benefits that it can bring.
'nuff said, back to the "pointless" game at Murrayfield.

Thank you.
From the absolute despair of a catastrophic, inept and disastrous first half to the ecstasy of a "got out of gaol" win, my Saturday morning is smiles all round. Onwards and hopefully upwards. I heard that the Welsh team are spending the next week training in Nice prior to travelling to Italy for their next game. No less than they deserve, but I cannot imagine Warren Gatland letting them of the leash for a moment, and any flouting of discipline will be rightly rewarded with a one way ticket back to the Valleys!!
The two games today, whet my appetite. Wondering whether Scotland can deliver what they so often promise. They really do need to be more disciplined and reduce errors/penalties to lesser single figures.
Ireland v England at the Aviva is according to the bookies at nailed on win for Ireland.
Conditions will play their part, not much wind 4 deg. and sunny. So good for open rugby, but I think England will try and keep it a forwards tussle. If the game is expansive, Ireland in front of their home crowd with the All Blacks win in their recent memories might run amok. I do think that the game might be a tinderbox waiting to ignite. The French referee has upset England previously, I really hope that he does not become a focus post match.
It should be a terrific afternoon for Rugby fans.
Now back to a warm croissant with French butter and Black Cherry jam, along with a rerun of last nights second half.!! LOL!!
Have a great weekend.
