Ninetails
The oil and gas industry is sometimes a long term play, unfortunately the jury still remains out on that one.
Time and patience will tell but you have to be in it to win it. If I remember correctly you were a big loser here complaining every day like Rich but traded yourself into a more favarable position.
Hopefully there will be better times ahead for many more not as fortunate as yourself.

Turkey is good news especially when it is already fully funded. A new revenue stream will be very positive news for the
company going forward.
I am not sure if there is any reason that UKOG can not become even more of an energy company in the UK by leasing land within its UK licence areas developing wind power and solar power as another move towards the transition net zero 2050 and beyond.
I'm sure that it will not make any difference to the greenies who just seem to want to disrupt any forms of energy production and UK plc.

I also am underwater and understand your words of blind faith and optimism very well but just because the going gets tough should I give up?
Sorry but it's not my style!
For all the many words of the many posts of doom and gloom over he last few years UKOG is still ticking along to the great disappointment of many posters here on a daily basis!
(Mind there motivations)
Has everything gone well, right and as we had all hoped or expected? 'No'
Is UKOG the dead duck with no future that some would have you believe? 'Not in my opinion'
Apart from the Weald & developments of oil and gas in Turkey UKOG seems to of turned itself and the future of the company to the future with developments into geothermal, gas to hydrogen and future gas and hydrogen storage leading the way upto the transition to net zero 2050 and beyond as a new style of energy company for he future.
I remain still remain disappointed but optimistic, hopeing to see some benefits in the future of my investment even if it didn't turn out just as I planned.
One benefit of higher oil and gas prices may be a higher net present value of the companies assets when a new CPR is produced.

What if a farm in was not just a farm in to Loxley but also included a farm in to develop HH once the supreme court has ruled on the Sarah Finch case.
I look forward to a new UKOG, CPR, things could indeed change very quickly just like they did in the summer of 2018 before the HH flow tests.
Nobody understands how UKOG can be planning or will ever finance all its future plans. But maybe rabbits out of hats is all part of the plan.
Time will tell and hopefully the patient investors will be rewarded for there loyalty.

Was that not just gas production from one verticle well HH1 that you are talking about?
It was stated many times there is a lot of gas at HH, which remains to be seen. The smaller flair may have been part of the site downgrading for its current status which can always be changed back as needed.
Maybe you could consider the possibilities of how many Wells and how much gas may be produced in the future?
Try looking at the bigger picture for once, not your usual small town boy *****ing!

Water injection from other sites would be a good addition.
I believe the current quantity of gas produced and flared at HH is only a small percentage of what is currently permitted. Gas to wire was stated in the environment permit when viable

Penguins has always been negative. Not many take his bait these days so he takes his chances when he can.
Hopefully 2023 will be a positive year for UKOG especially with the more positive asset values coming through over the last few years.

You are right and there are many government departments.
What nobody wants to take account of is that HH permissions and associated costs & works were done on UK energy policy requires infrastructure & is forward looking over many years not just because of what people want or the new kid on the block but what has been a long term project that will take account of regulatory changes but should not be stopped now that it has started.
