Most companies have quite a bit of debt to start up and function.
Here debt is minimal with a control on repayment.
We are just awaiting the EA permits, some help from HM Government world help us along the way especially in such strange times.
"she's crazy and crazy people aren't logical I'm afraid. What would she do if she wasn't doing this? She'd never be noticed... she just wants the attention"
This also probably applies to a number of posters on here imo.
Is this the pot calling the kettle black?
Thank you penguins your options are well versed but time will tell. It has been a long 10 year road but there is a 20 year production licence ahead at Horse Hill for 6 wells plus water injection. The last 10 years have not been easy for the company or it's investors but has laid the foundation for the future of the start up company of UKOG.
I hope that I will look back in another year or so and remind you of your negativity and all of those that have lost out in following you beliefs.
Everyone has to follow there own beliefs and while you and many others have made your opinions very, very clear over the last number of years. A lot of work has been done and there may be a lot more to do for the growth of the company but hopefully there will soon be sings of a better future ahead.
There are many that will follow this investment through despite your best efforts to convince the world and it's brother that that this will not work out.
The one thing that you forget is that it is a investment to many, not just a trade and despite many companies going to the wal UKOG are now coming into a position to capitalise on the Investments that have been made. If things progress on the current basis the $70 a barrel value that the assumptions were made on will look undervalued when a new CPR is published as will Net present value of £15-18. This information may come sooner or later, may be after news on Loxley decision, the Turkey dril and the next Horse Hill drill we will see but for me it wil be onwards and upwards.

Maybe that was all part of the Loxley decision being called in by the secretary of state. We will have to wait and see if it also affects the Arreton decision.
Stranger things have happened when the chips are down.

I thought that your stated position was that you were waiting for the EA permit for water injection that would solve the water production and disposal costs affecting the HH profits and margins.
Have you sold up to early?
Maybe we will get the unexpected!
Should HH be granted its EA permit following the close of the EA consultation at the end of March maybe we can expect the news of the sale of HH just as Angus is talking about selling itself or Salt fleet.
It may require a release of the recourses figures from the Kimmeridge EWT or the bringing forward of drilling plans.
Turkey was always talked about as the future so lets get the past and present sorted.
The this is money article. It also has comments at the bottom.

All very interesting but was it not previously that Loxley and Broadford Bridge data or a site in-between would make the decision.
Now Loxley or Horse Hill.
Horse Hill and Broadford Bridge data now looking favourite to me with the appraisal of Loxley up to 3 years ahead if permission is granted for appraisal of the the site!

Thanks Tony.

Yes and now you are starting to get my drift what it is all about.
DL always said there was a lot of gas at HH and I believe that the well was drilled that deep to verify the resources.
UKOG were supposed to look at Kl 1/2/3/4 which I believe includes shale rocks. in the EWT but the well did go much deeper.
This RNS from 2014 below shows the potential resources and why the well was drilled and the EWT was done but we still await the results from UKOG but now know they own 86% of the licence and have a production licence for 20 years.
