LONDON (Reuters) - Glencore (GLEN.L) on Tuesday lowered full-year guidance for its lead and coal output, while first-half copper production rose 8 percent from a year earlier and cobalt increased 31 percent as operations ramped up in Democratic Republic of Congo.

Guidance for full-year lead output was lowered by 5 percent and coal by 1 percent. Glencore plans to give further details when it releases first-half results next week.

Credit Suisse analysts in a note said most operations were broadly in line with forecasts and reiterated their outperform rating.

Hawky, The Saudis, won't want oil back at $45, They still need to get the Aramco deal sorted, they are already having problems, I see they've brought JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley in to sort it.
IMO I think we'll see oil nearer $80 for a good while yet.
And also the lack of investment over the the last ten or so years will start to bite soon, if not already doing so. ATB

Glen was in auction until 8.06 this morning, it shot up 14.5p for milli seconds then opened 1.6p up when it came out of auction. All games. ATB
