Labour (probably the loopy Ed Milliband)not long after getting into power closed a refinery down up in Scotland with the loss of 3000 jobs. I believe the refinery could handle most crude from the North Sea, bar sulphur heavy crude , Gulf Keystone’s oil is heavy sulphur crude and goes to America to be refined, then from there to the international markets.

Im sure if we could more of our own resources, we’d all have cheap energy bills, but this net zero policy that Labour are pursuing is killing the industry in this country.

Supposedly just stop oil are packing in all these demonstrations, where they glue themselves to roads, throw orange paint and dust over buildings and paintings, after a final demonstration on April 26th.

Saying they’ve made their point , LOL

Bots, I watched that last night, the Labour chap was wrong I believe, There’s nothing wrong with us producing our own oil and gas in this country and using it ourselves, without it going through the international market first. Or I’m I wrong?

@TonKnee 53, They whoever they are had the price cica £1.76ish 2 weeks ago, why didn’t they keep it there or go lower at the time. In my opinion I’m with Nav_Mike dark forces and all that.

My bet is G/S are behind it, in some way , but us mere mortals will probably never know.

@Nav-mike, watched the the Orange man’s speech on GB news yesterday with the Irish President, he mentioned WTi was down to $65 or thereabouts, and then said we’re getting there, I took that statement to mean he wanted the lower, but who knows he Manipulated the market the last time he was in office tweeting and texting every five minutes.

Don’t get wrong I’d love oil to back in 80s or higher, but with the Big I am who knows.
