Bonkers thanks for your efforts in trying to get a response I find I'm agreeing with a lot of what you have posted.

Being another battered long term holder, I'm getting a feeling of deja vu despite what Greg said as recently as 6th December about rebuilding shareholder confidence and watch this space.

Yes I would have liked a RNS stating the drilling has begun but regulatory don't think they had to issue one, perhaps they are just going to come out with preliminary results, I think sebo suggest something like this. Perhaps it has something to do with the FID negotiations but fear I'm clutching at straws but would love to be proved wrong

It's great to posting only 10 days ago on linkedin/Instagram about "Access Civimech (Pvt) Ltd. providing project management and engineering support to deliver key elements required to reach a FID" or "Our field team marked the 1st working day of 2025"

A post with a photo of a rig drilling would be much more beneficial and useful but then again I don't believe drilling has started can't wait for the reason they are going to put forward this time, need to save cash for the FID, decided didn't need to do it, place your bets

All I can think of is that the new government and the new head of the gsmb had something to say about that

Guess we can assume something has happened again to delay the drilling. Mid December Greg was telling anyone and everyone who would listen how the drilling was ready to go and was going to start before Christmas, rebuilding the share price, FID in Q2, everything is in place, importance to be doing now rather than saying etc etc.

Looks like he’s failed again at the first attempt to rebuild shareholder confidence

So any guesses at what the excuse will be this time for not starting the drilling, the election was the last excuse

Greg did mention that he was meeting the new head of the GSMB a couple of days after one of the interviews, wonder if they had something say

I think Greg mentioned that there were possibly 3 Sri Lankan companies that could possibly take a small stake in CMET.

Also that there were several Chinese companies on the scene as well looking at a possible off take deal. I would assume LB would be one of those again.

I was under the impression Greg stated the rig was probably going to be mobilised within the next couple of weeks, I guess if everything goes ok it will be straight after the meeting with the new head on the GSMB next week. Apparently, the rig is still in place and ready to go

I think from the last rns and the presentation the next 4 to 6 months are critical in trying to restore some confidence in CMET. There seems to be a much more bullish intent. However, LTH have been here before and heard how good the resource is so many times. It's time to deliver now and I can wait another 4 to 5 months to see what the promised progress is before deciding what to do with this share or whether to take the loss

I believe an updated development plan is also due from what Greg said on the last presentation

Agreed the investor day presentation yesterday on the face came across well and fair play to Greg for doing it in light of what’s just happened.

So we have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for another plan of how we get this into production. Another plan that’s all cmet keeps doing, coming up with another plan and that’s why the share price is where it is the market simply doesn’t believe them.

There was a good quote by Martin in the Sheffield interview “it’s all about showing not telling, more so in mineral sand!” All cmet does is tell.

Yes it is a compelling case, world class resource, easy access, low cost, in demand, blah blah blah, LTHs (2 years +) have heard it all before, thats why they can attract people like the new COO.

I can wait another 6-8 weeks for the “plan”, things need to start to be delivered and if they are I don’t think cmet will need to raise anymore money in 9 months by then cmet will be in a much stronger position and that is when we take on another partner

So CMET got seduced and got into bed with Sheffield and Griffin but then got shafted by their Aussie mates. At least Greg had the balls to walk away by the sounds of it.

Let's hope there's clear plan B on the 3rd July.

Just had chance to watch the interview and the effect it’s had on the share price and deservedly so.

I agree Greg was poor and confusing not like the 1st interview but is that because the JV has been done and he’s struggling with what he can and can’t say until it’s official.

CMET has always been very bullish with what they have but has Sheffield said enough, prove it before we go all in, from Sheffields point of view it makes sense. As legalwolf has said the devil is going to be in the detail of any deal.

Makes you wonder what influence Peter Griffin is playing in all this and is the king maker.

GM did say we don’t need any money it’s his job now to increase the buying in the stock, which would stop any low ball takeover, which spectacularly failed today.

Didn't they say the same thing in Octobers presentation.

I guess the easiest way to do this is to get the JV signed but getting it over the line is appearing difficult, especially if it goes on beyond the end of May

Great news the financing is almost sorted hopefully with another rns in the next couple of weeks adding more detail. Still not clear from the new presentation if it's now nearly 2 years to production from the original 12 months previously indicated

I don’t think you can read too much into what Greg said about the 15th deadline whether the deal will be done by then or not and you cant blame long term holders being sceptical cmet has a long history of missing dates. One thing is for sure the share price will take a hammering if nothing is announce by then

I now think the original delay in financing was to allow Sheffield to do DD and allow them on board in some sort of capacity and they will be included in the financing deal in some capacity.

The delay into production 2026 is another missed target what’s changed, is it because cmet is going away from the idea of using the port, why have your facilities there if your not going to use it!

Let's hope the next update states that the contracts have been signed to begin construction at docks, new licences have been granted and the finance has been sorted. I know overly optimistic probably just going to be we have another plan to get us into production as the last one 3 months ago didn't work!
